Airport • Travel documents • 1 piece of hand luggage only (50cmx40cmx20cm) • Liquids (clear plastic/sandwich bags) • Pupil groups (allocations arranged in school) • Breakfast in airport or on plane (menu on easy jets website-correct change useful)
What to pack....? • Layers • A waterproof coat (wear onto plane to save space) • Gloves, hat • Warm, comfortable, waterproof shoes (a single pair!) • Evening wear? Hairdryers/straighteners (preferably not!!!!) • Travel size toiletries (good stocking fillers!!!!)
Currency and spending money • Swiss francs are best (CHF) NOT Euros • Meals
• Thursday breakfast (on plane-£7 max) and lunch (delivered to hotel). COST: 15 CHF • Friday lunch (at CERN-cash required) and dinner (Mc Donalds/Wok Place). COST: 25 CHF • Saturday lunch (Starbucks/patisserie) and teatime (on plane-£10). COST: 30 CHF
• Money in envelopes with name and day • Souvenirs are expensive! NT/ TV is 5CHF

Thursday • Meet in airport at 4.30am • Airport to Gare Cornavin No. 5 tram to Hotel Central • Check-in, money/travel documents in safe, info cards issued, lunch • Geneva sightseeing/Natural History Museum • Dinner at Holy Cow Gourmet Burger restaurant/quiz • Back to hotel
Friday • Breakfast at 7.00am • Depart hotel at 8am • No. 5 tram to Gare Cornavin No. 18 tram to CERN • Morning; Group tour of CERN • Lunch in CERN restaurant (where we may see some famous scientists!!!) • Afternoon; Microcosm and Universe of particles Exhibition • Back to hotel/dinner at McDonalds or Wok Place • Visit Jet D’Eau and The Flower Clock
Saturday • Breakfast at 8.00am • Check out but store luggage •The History of Science Museum •Lunch •Walk around UN buildings and Intenational Red Cross Museum •Collect luggage •Check in at Geneva Airport •Flight departs at 18:35 •Arrive in Liverpool at 19:35
