Year 1 visitor

This week Year 1 had a very special visitor, Marilyn, who came to Godley Primary School back in 1949. Marylin came to talk to the children as part of their History topic comparing school now with our school in the past. They learnt so much as Marilyn explained to the children how different school was back then with different entrances for girls and boys and also separate playgrounds! She shared photographs of her class and of the old school building. Children asked questions and made comparisons about school life today.

Christmas production prep!

Rehearsals for our Christmas Productions are well underway and we are excited for you all to come and watch the children perform. Dates for the Christmas shows are as follows: Foundation stage - 9th Dec 9:30am

Years 1,2 & 3- 11th Dec 9:30am and 2:00pm

Years 4,5 & 6 - 16th Dec 9:30am and 2:00pm

Sports stars of the week

Despite the really wet conditions over the weekend there was still sporting success for a number of our pupils with two boys being named player of the match for their teams.

There was also success indoors with pupils getting certificates and badges for swimming and gymnastics.
