Year 3 and 6 field trip
Year 3 and Year 6 enjoyed walking to Godley reservoir to conduct some fieldwork on Wednesday, as part of their Geography topic. The children completed field sketches of the local area on the way there and discussed the physical features of Godley reservoir on their return.
Year 4 Mentors

Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all those who attended Parents’ Evening this week. It was lovely to celebrate the children, discuss progress and set future targets. We hope you enjoyed looking through the children’s books and seeing all the fantastic learning that has taken place this half term.

Sporting stars of the week
The Tameside Schools cross-country series came to a successful close at the weekend with top three finishes for both the under 9 boys and girls' team in the overall event.
The boys finished 2nd in the team event with the girls placing third after the three races.
There was also individual glory for Year 4s George S who came third, setting a new personal best in the process. There was also a number of achievements for pupils in other sports including swimming and golf.

Tameside Foodbank
Tameside East Foodbank I would like to thank staff, pupils and school families for the harvest donations. They will help support local people in crisis in the Tameside area.
