GROW YOUR CAREER IN AN EXPANDING AND EVOLVING SECTOR Real estate and infrastructure have taken on a new importance as building blocks in today’s global economy, with increasing recognition that successful and sustainable cities are the ecosystems for business formation, innovation, and economic growth. This dynamic coincides with the growing importance of “real assets” in both institutional and individual asset portfolios. Real estate and infrastructure investment is driving increased demand for highly qualified professionals that understand both industries as well as the connections between them. The 12-month Master of Real Estate & Infrastructure (MREI) builds upon the reputation and expertise of the MBA specialization in Real Estate & Infrastructure. Schulich has a strong and innovative tradition in real estate and infrastructure education that is highly regarded by industry and connected to a large global alumni network. The MREI’s comprehensive curriculum integrates business leadership with an industry focus on development, investment and financing. Gain the skills and knowledge to analyze and execute successful real estate and infrastructure projects. The cornerstone of the program is a three-term leadership development course in which you’ll sharpen your critical thinking skills and develop your own leadership style. Required courses will examine valuation techniques, legal and regulatory frameworks, investment and business structures, sustainability topics, planning and design issues, and the project life cycle.

In your final term, you’ll have the opportunity to apply theory within a collaborative framework, as you tackle a timely project that embodies real-world social, environmental and business challenges.
