Short Description: Carcinogenesis is literally the 'creation' of cancer. It is a process by which normal cells are transformed into cancer cells. Mutagenesis is a process by which the genetic information of an organism is changed in a stable manner, resulting in a mutation. It may occur spontaneously in nature, or as a result of exposure to mutagens.
Aims & Scope:
In this special issue the editor asks the responsible authors to review the latest understanding of the evaluation and characterization of carcinogens and mutagens and also the application of current methods in molecular and cellular biology. This special issue would like to provide a platform wherein your contributions to the specified theme are accepted and discussions are made with regard to the scientific progress made in the respective theme. This special issue includes original article, short communication, mini-review and review articles.
Keywords: (Including and not limited to) Carcinogenesis, Mutagenesis, Change in genetic material of organism, How and why mutations occur, Cancer causes, Role of radiation etc.,
