High school training times (P6/7s welcome)
Saturdays The Meadows 11.00 am –12.30 pm Tollcross end, between Melville Drive & Lauriston Gardens. Outdoors (grass). Open to all. Mondays James Gillespie’s High School 3.45-4.45 pm Ground at corner of Whitehouse Loan & Thirlestane Road Outdoors (synthetic). Open to all.
Take on the best Training games are fun, fast, and a great way to enjoy sport, but… Tough local, regional and even national teams at 12, 14, and 17/under age groups are waiting, so you can test your skills!
Players aged 14+ can move on to senior league club Tayforth (Edinburgh), or Aberdour or Edinburgh University (men’s/ladies’ teams). Or play for Scotland! Shinty is a sport for life!
