Sciennes Worldwide Storytelling - stories will be told in the two rooms in the library. Spaces are limited so book now on wisepay to avoid disappointment. Please note the recommended age groups for each session ! Time
Room 1 - restricted to 35 places

Tales from Shetland, Ireland and American Indian
Brazil - Noone knows for sure who (or what) lives deep in the Amazon Jungle. No explorer has ever reached the depths of the forest. There are no roads leading there and there is no way for planes to land there safely. No spaceship or satellite can see through the forest canopy. Very few humans have glimpsed at the wondrous creatures that live and protect the forest. But they told us stories ‌‌.

2.15- 2.45pm Australia - Enter the land of dreamtime, will you meet Bunyip or the Dog on the Tuckerbox or the wonderful creatures of this beautiful country ? Hear tales from the Italian Settlers who made Australia their home.
New Zealand - Aotearoa Legend has it that New Zealand was fished from the sea by the daring demigod Maui. North Island is his fish and south Island is his canoe ! (look at a map). Learn more about the myths and fables of the land of the long white cloud ! be prepared to be shocked and amazed !
