LONG-TERM VOLUNTEERING
WORKCAMPS SCI organizes short-term voluntary projects known as ‘workcamps’. These projects are organised in cooperation with SCI branches and partner organisations who, in turn, cooperate with local communities. It is a unique form of volunteering, bringing together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to live and work together with local communities for a period of two to three weeks. sci.ngo/workcamps
SCI's long-term volunteering programme offers the opportunity to stay abroad from 1 to 12 months.
TRAINING COURSES AND SEMINARS SCI organizes trainings and seminars that focus on a variety of themes. These events are all organised according to the principle of nonformal education and take place in different countries during the year. To ensure the quality of the trainings, SCI has established its own Pool of Trainers.
