WORLD RABIES DAY THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS Although rabies is a threatening zoonotic disease, it is preventable and furthermore global elimination of this zoonosis is possible. As future medical professionals for both animals and humans, we play an essential role in making this possible.

We invite veterinary and medical students all over the world to help their communities on the occasion of the 9th annual World Rabies Day on September 28th, 2015. To be a part of this initiative, you will need to: • Organize a World Rabies Day event - please check our “guide” to become inspired • Hold the rabies prevention event in your community by October 31st, 2015 • Share your event with others via social media and submit your completed entry by November 30th, 2015 to the IVSA or IFMSA For more details, ideas, materials, and registration, please visit http://rabiesalliance.org/world-rabies-day/events/report-event.
