"Ofelia Danser" - ??? Hvad har komponisten tænkt sig. Er dette et forsøg på at lave et lydspor til en virtuel Hamlet-forestilling? Danser Ofelia egentlig talt overhovedet? Eller har komponisten tænkt, at Ofelia var nok smuk og det synes han også hans musk er? Måske er det snarere en måde at dække over en meningsløs musik, der igennem ikke mindre end tolv satser ustandseligt går i stå og ikke formår at samle sig. Med mindre sats-inddelingerne er rent fup. Mange af dem glider umærkeligt over i hinanden mens andre, VI-IX bare er kastet oveni hinanden og afvikles samtidigt. Er det en sådan skizofrenitet i musikken komponisten alluderer til? Nu er jeg jo selv komponisten, så jeg burde vide hvad jeg tænker mig. Det tætteste jeg kan komme er dog, at jeg synes musikken har en sprødhed og en sarthed, selv i sine mest robuste øjeblikke, der fik mig til at associere til Ofelia. Et navn jeg synes besidder en særlig fin skønhed. Og så er det da rigtigt, at det rent intellektuelt ikke er lykkedes mig at binde denne musik rationelt og uangribeligt sammen. Så, ja, vanviddet er taget ind i associationsfeltet som en kærkommen undskyldning. Dansen er først sent kommet ind i billedet, i de sidste par uger af en tilblivelsesproces, der har strakt sig over ialt ni måneder. Men da først tanken havde meldt sig hørte jeg overalt forsigtige tilløb til mulige danse. Svend Hvidtfelt Nielsen, oktober 2012

"Ophelia Dances" - ??? What in the world should this mean? Is the composer suggesting that he has made a sound track for a virtual performance of Shakespeare's Hamlet? Does Ophelia dance at all? Or did the composer believe, that Ophelia is beautifull and so is his music. He believes? Maybe it is rather a way to make up for the randomness and lack of coherence of his music? No less than 12 movements has been schethed. If not this apparent mass of movements is also purely virtual. A shere gimmick as many of these movements are played attacca and movements VI-IX are played similtaniously, simply tossed on top of one another! Well, being the composer I should know. The closest I can get to an explanaition is however, that to me the music has a certain fragility, that reminds me of this Ophelia of Hamlet. And in my music, I hear her dance.
