Gently awaken your Spring dancing body at Dundee Rep Theatre! We look forward to welcoming you to the latest programme of classes, with new sessions that might be of interest. Please check out the last page of the leaflet if you would like support to take part. Some of our groups will perform their latest work at Dundee Rep Dance Festival on May 20th at 7.30pm. Creative Dance for Children Age 8 - 11 years
Young people have fun whilst gaining confidence through learning new moves with positive and encouraging teaching by our experienced tutors.
Do Your Thing! Fun, accessible class for all
Explore how to get the most out of dance, individually and in groups. No previous experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm. The class welcomes people with and without disabilities. Please call Dawn on 01382 342 600 to discuss access needs.

In these creative dance sessions for 3 and 4 year olds with their grown ups, everyone moves together. A lovely way to have fun and bond with the little one in your family.
Youth Dance Company For ages 12 - 18
The company works on creative tasks and contemporary dance technique. This group also performs at a variety of events throughout the year, including for Go Dance at Theatre Royal, Glasgow and Y Dance Destinations. Guest Choreographers make work on the company. New members welcome, no experience necessary.

Adult Contemporary Dance For ages 14+
Technical exercises and sequences are taught to build strength, co-ordination and flexibility. Ideal for people with previous dance experience. Please note: Class will end at 7.40pm on 24 May so dancers can attend BalletBoyz at the Rep at 8pm
Masterclasses For ages 14+
Guest teachers and dancers from Scottish Dance Theatre lead Masterclasses throughout the year. Keep up to date via Twitter and Facebook or visit our website to find out more.
Pilates with Naomi Murray For ages 16+
Naomi Murray's class is a contemporary approach to the Pilates method. Naomi places focus on mind & body co-ordination into movement, with emphasis on postural alignment. Our bodies should be pain free. Pilates helps balance our musculature towards this goal.

Attending our classes
All classes are held at Scottish Dance Theatre, Dundee Rep Theatre, Tay Square, Dundee, DD1 1PB. Please meet the Support Worker beside Rep Box Office 10 - 15 minutes before the start of the class. The Support Worker can answer any questions and will escort everyone up to the studio. There are male and female changing rooms and toilets next to the dance studio. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move easily in and note that outdoor shoes aren't allowed in the dance studio.

Concessions
Where applicable, concessionary prices are listed in brackets and are available to students and those in receipt of benefits. If you would like to pay for a block of classes in 4 monthly installments, please email: sdt@scottishdancetheatre.com
Latecomers
Latecomers may not be admitted as everyone needs to warm up together.

If you would like to attend any of our classes but cannot afford to, apply to our Hardship Fund. Write a short paragraph about why you want to attend and how you think the classes would benefit you. Protection of children & vulnerable people Scottish Dance Theatre runs a strict child protection policy. All teachers and support workers have the appropriate checks.
Photography
We sometimes take photos of our classes and workshops for marketing purposes. Permission will be sought by Scottish Dance Theatre beforehand.
Spectators
We do not usually allow spectators as it can distract participants.
Access & Inclusion
At Scottish Dance Theatre we believe dance is for everyone and want to bring as many people, from all walks of life, into contact with dance. Dundee Rep is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and our dance studio is open to everyone.
