Advertiser and client testimonials “Commiting to any business such as ours comes with a lengthy price tag and so the need to fenerate a fast income is ever growing but where do you start?. We tried online advertising soley as the media always remind us that most people are doing their shopping online. We chose Scottish Field because this is a magazine we have always read and enjoyed, and we were aware how we had in the past responded ourselves to various suppliers who advertised within the magazine. We couldn’t have predicted the response we received and within the office we can tell which day the magazine has gone on sale due to the enquiry load we promptly receive. We are in a position that as far as Scotland is concerned we are more than happy with using just the one magazine as no other has competed with it’s generated responses.” DENICE PUNLER, ROYAL SCOTTISH SHIPPING LINE

“We are pleased to say we have received a great response to our recent advertisement in the Epicurean Corner feature in Scottish Field. It has had the desired effect of directing readers to our website and placing orders.” SANDISONS (UNST) LTD

CLIENTS WHO ADVERTISE WITH US

“I have advertised my work with Scottish Field over a good number of years now. The response has been very positive. The graphics are always well presented. The staff are most helpful and professional to deal with.” GRAHAM STEWART. GOLD AND SILVERSMITH

“Scottish Field has been without question out most important advertising medium in 2018 as well as trusted partner for the design of our adverts. The sales team understand our small business venture and suggest relevant opportunities for advertising. Pre-season bookings for Eddrachilles Hotel in 2018 are already the best in the 14 years of records. Scottish Field has played a key part in that progress and we look forward to coninuing our advertising with them in 2018 and beyond” EDDRACHILLES HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

Scottish Field is our primary paper based marketing channel where most of our customers see us come from. Over the years we have spent a small fortune experimenting with many alternative forms of advertising and publications. This speaks volumes for the value of our relationship with Scottish Field. MIRIAM GALT, DIRECTOR. COUNTRY SOFAS

“Turnberry has had a strong and successful commercial relationship with Scottish Field for a number of years. As well as supporting the publication via advertising, Turnberry also has copies of the magazine within the bedrooms of the resort for guests to enjoy. Scottish Field is an enjoyable and eclectic read which is an excellent match for the Luxury Collection customer.” TURNBERRY LUXURY COLLECTION RESORT

Scottish designers share their ideas

THE NOMADS TENT

The Nomads Tent is a warehouse of tribal art in Edinburgh specialising in traditional and contemporary hand-woven rugs, carpets and kilims. They place emphasis on colour, texture and pattern in defining your interior space. They also source hand-made furniture, textiles, upholstery, artefacts and architectural features from India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. They strive to trade honestly and fairly, travelling to their source countries for most of their buying. Andrew Haughton (owner), The Nomads Tent. Tel: 0131 6621612, www.nomadstent.co.uk

PORCELANOSA

Inspiration is everywhere. In a poem, in an image, in a pleasant evening, in drawings made unconsciously, in an art gallery, in the cinema, in advertisements, in vegetation. Inspiration tries to link two apparently unconnected aspects to give it a new meaning. They are actions, systems of crossed thinking. XTone has given me a new dimension in the way of conceiving new projects. Moisés Royo, Co Founder - MUKAarquitectura + JC Architecture on using Xtone Tel: 01923 656777. www.porcelanosa.com

THE ORIGINAL CHAIR COMPANY

The company began in 2006 and has grown slowly and carefully since then. They incorporate interior design, both residential and commercial. The small and close knit team work with passion and professionalism. Company director, Kate MacKenzie, knows bespoke design and following your heart make the best interiors, and says, ‘I tend not to follow trends too closely.’ Tel: 01738 551600, theoriginalchaircompany.co.uk

THE BATHROOM COMPANY

Industrial Bathrooms is hugely on trend. The inspiration is New York 1950s style industrial areas. This emanated in the kitchen and now it’s making its way into the bathroom. Rustic pipework in copper, aged brass or steel can blend well with wooden or concrete objects and accent lighting can create an authentic scheme.
