Welcome to the very first Scottish International Short Film Festival! We are so happy to be sharing this incredible programme with you.

We have created SIFF to showcase exceptional, Scottish and international short film, whilst also addressing the imbalance of underrepresented groups of makers and stories within film festivals. Our programme includes animated, narrative, documentary and experimental short films, by makers from eleven countries and in fourteen languages

We are very proud to have EQUITY -the performing arts and entertainment trade union- sponsoring the Best Performance 2023 award. The very talented Scottish artist Wilma MacKenzie is creating bespoke, hand-engraved glass and slate awards for this years' award winners. A jury of filmmakers, artists and actors will select the winners of 7 award categories, which will be announced live on Saturday the 22nd April, following the final film screening.
