Moin! … sagt man in Hamburg, wo Bergamont vor über 20 Jahren mit einer Handvoll Mountainbikes an den Start ging. Heute haben wir uns in unserer Hansestadt als universeller Vollsortimenter etabliert, welcher in 30 Ländern weltweit vertreten ist. Um unseren Wurzeln gerecht zu werden, haben wir unsere neuen 2016er Bikes diesmal direkt vor Ort fotografiert und dafür viele spannende Orte gefunden. Nicht nur, um unsere Räder bestmöglich zu inszenieren, sondern um jedes Modell in seiner natürlichen Umgebung zu zeigen. Es fahren Hamburger Jungs und Deerns, von uns ausgewählt über ein facebook-Casting. Genau wie wir es selbst oft und gerne tun, haben wir unsere sportiven Bikes eingepackt, um zusammen mit unseren Teamprofis in der nahen Heide und dem Harz actiongeladene Bilder zu produzieren. Das Ergebnis zeigt Stadt und Land in vielen Facetten – die glitzernde Alster, die schnieken Elbvillen, der Sprung über die Elbe, das Weltkulturerbe Speicherstadt, die quicklebendige Schanze und die HafenCity. So vielfältig wie Hamburg sind auch die Bergamont Fahrräder. „Urban Mobility“ in modernster Ausprägung und sportliche Modelle für alle Disziplinen. Wir präsentieren viele neue E-Bikes, innovative Technik, funktionale Updates und eine über alle Bereiche einheitliche Formensprache. … is the universal greeting in Hamburg. It was here that Bergamont started business 20 years ago and with just a handful of mountainbikes. Today we are a well-established full-range manufacturer, who is represented in 30 countries worldwide. To honor our roots we shot our image pictures for the 2016 catalog direc tly here in our wonderful home town. We not only found loads of exciting places to present our new bikes in their natural habitat, we also reached out over Facebook to find some great locals to ride them. Just as we like to do ourselves we then packed our sportive models and went to the nearby Heath and the Harz mountains to produce some action packed shots there as well. The result is a multi-facetted picture of the city and its surroundings – the glittering Alster, the posh mansions on the side of river Elbe, the world heritage site Speicherstadt, where spices and herbs are traded even today, the lively Schanze district and the HafenCity. Just as diverse as Hamburg itself are the Bergamont Bikes: Urban mobility in its latest rendition and sportive models for all disciplines. We present many new E-bikes, innovative technology, functional updates and a consistent design language over the entire range. We aim to deliver exciting and dependable bikes in top quality. Bereits Mitte 2015 hatte Bergamont mit den EnCore-EnduroModellen und den Deer Hunter-Fatbikes die ersten Neuheiten für 2016 präsentiert. Neben zahlreichen Verbesserungen an den bestehenden Modellen, wie der Steckachse für das Revox Carbon und einem überarbeitetem Kiez-Rahmen, steht mit dem Trailster C nun auch ein komplett neues, 150 mm E-Fully bereit. Mit Ausnahme der EQ-Modelle kommt in allen E-MTBs der extrem drehmomentstarke Bosch Performance Line CX Motor zum Einsatz. Bei vielen E-Bike-Modellen gibt es zudem auch die Option auf den größeren 500-Wh-Akku für noch mehr Reichweite. Neu entwickelt wurde der E-Line Wave-Rahmen: Inspiriert vom Box Flansch Konzept der E-Ville Baureihe findet man an diesem modernen Tiefeinsteiger eine ganze Reihe konstruk tiver Neuheiten vor. Diese machen das Rad äußerst laufruhig und fahrstabil. Bei allen Bergamont E-Bikes mit Bosch-Motor schützt ein eigens entwickelter und extrem widerstandsfähiger Unterfahrschutz Motor und Elektronik. Außerdem gibt es die beliebten Sweep Urban Bikes nun auch als sportive Tief einsteiger mit Amsterdam-Rahmen – mit und ohne Motor. Viele clevere Details, wie innenverlegte Züge oder harmonisch integrierte Befestigungspunkte für Gepäckträger, Seitenständer und Schutzbleche, sowie die stimmige Komponenten auswahl, sorgen bei allen Modellen für eine cleane, moderne Optik und ein ausgezeichnetes Fahrerlebnis.
With the EnCore enduro platform and the Deer Hunter fat bikes, Bergamont presented the first new models of the 2016 range already in mid-2015. Along with numerous improvements to the existing models, like a thru-axle for all carbon fiber Revox and a redesigned Kiez frame, Bergamont now offers an all-new 150 mm full-suspension E-MTB – the Trailster C. With the exception of the EQ models, all E-MTB feature the new Bosch Performance Line CX motor with extremely high torque. Many E-bikes can be optionally ordered with the bigger 500Wh battery for added range. The E-Line Wave frame is newly developed: Inspired by the Box Flange Concept of the E-Ville models this modern low-entry frame features many new design elements. These make the bike very smooth and stable to ride. All Bergamont E-Bikes with a Bosch motor are equipped with a specially designed bash-guard to protect the motor and electronics. Furthermore the popular Sweep urban bikes are now available with a low- entry Amsterdam frame – with or without motor. Throughout the range of bikes the well-balanced choice of components and the many clever features, like internal cable routing or the smoothly integrated mounts for carrier, kickstand and fenders, cater to a clean, modern look and an exceptional ride quality.

Unsere Entwickler schufen eine Rahmenplattform mit besten Allround-Eigenschaften: leicht und vortriebsstark für lange Touren, agil und doch laufruhig, mit Nehmerqualitäten für pure Enduro-Action – kaum ein Gelände welchem das EnCore nicht gewachsen ist. Ein tiefes Tretlager, langer Reach, flacher Lenkwinkel und die Flip-Chip Geometrieverstellung ermöglichen eine optimale Fahrposition.
Encore. The new Bergamont EnCore meets all the requirements of modern Enduro racing. Our developers created a frame platform with perfect allround capabilities: light and easy to accelerate for long rides, agile yet smooth to ride and built to endure all the enduro action you throw at it. Not a trail the EnCore does not conquer. A low BB, long reach, slack steering angle and the Flip-Chip geometry feature enable you to take the perfect riding position.

Product Highlight 2016 Bergamont E-Mountainbikes als Hardtail oder Fully, mit 27,5" oder 29" Laufrädern sind echte Spaßmaschinen. Mit Aus nahme der EQ-Modelle verfügen alle E-MTB über den neuen Bosch Performance CX Motor, mit nochmals mehr Drehmoment für maximalen Durchzug vom Start weg. Kiez dirt. Auf dem Pumptrack vor der Tür, im Skatepark oder auf der ganz großen Dirt-Line, unsere Kiez Bikes sind immer die perfekte Wahl. Auch Dirt-Profi Pavel Alekhin schwört auf die ausgefeilte Kiez-Geometrie wenn er auf internationalen Contests seine fetten Tricks raushaut. Für 2016 kommt das Kiez mit komplett überarbeitetem Rahmen aus einer neuen Aluminiumlegierung und mit neuem Rohrsatz für weniger Gewicht und einer besonders cleanen Optik.

For 2016 the Kiez frame was completely redone in a new and improved alloy and new set of tubing. This means less weight and a cleaner look.

In 2015 we premiered the integrative E-Ville frame concept and its unique iconography and design did not only convince our customers but in case of our E-Ville C XT also won the Red Dot Design Award 2015. E-Line / update. Bei unseren E-Line Modellen gibt es 2016 zahlreiche Updates, darunter im Rahmen integrierte Schaltkabel und einen neuen GFK-Unterfahrschutz, der gleichzeitig als Kabelführung fungiert und diese leichter zugänglich macht. Ebenfalls neu sind die eigens von Bergamont entwickelten Motorabdeckungen aus ABS, welche die Antriebseinheit fast nahtlos in den Rahmen fügen. Für einen optimalen Schwerpunkt sind alle Akkus am Unter- oder Sitzrohr befestigt.

E-Line Wave. Inspired by the design of the Box Flange Concept found on our E-Ville models, we created the E-Line Wave. An ultra-stiff low-entry frame with exceptional ride qualities and comfortable geometry. Durch deren Positionierung um den Tretlager bereich verteilt sich das Gewicht auf den unteren Rahmen für eine einfachere Handhabung. Die wesentliche Elektronik ist in die Antriebseinheit integriert und bietet ein zuverlässiges und wetterfestes System.
Shimano STePS utilizes a frame mounted drive unit, positioned around the bottom bracket to optimize weight distribution and lower the center of gravity to improve riding characteristics. The main electronic components are fully integrated in the drive unit which makes the system very reliable and protects it from the elements.
Das perfekte Fahrerlebnis basiert auf der Di2-Nabenschaltung, einem optimal mit der Antriebs einheit integrierten elektronischen Schaltsystem. Während des Schaltens wird die Motorleistung kurz reduziert, was den Gangwechsel geschmeidig macht. Das System schaltet beim Anhalten zudem automatisch herunter und ermöglicht danach ein schnelles, leichtes Anfahren.
The perfect riding experience is achieved with the Di2 hubgear. This electronic shifting system is perfectly matched to the drive unit, cutting power during shifting to make gear changes as smooth as possible. Also the system automatically shifts down to a preset gear when halting, so you always start easily and fast and in your preferred gear.

E-Bike Store. 2014 wurde in Hamburg der Bergamont Flagship Store eröffnet. Dieser erfreute sich vom ersten Tag an regen Zulaufs und kam sehr gut an. So gut sogar, dass Bergamont in 2015 direkt nebenan einen zweiten Shop eröffnet hat. Den Bergamont E-Bike Store, der sich eigens auf die immer stärker nachgefragten E-Bikes spezialisiert. Das kompetente und engagierte Verkaufs Team präsentiert hier das gesamte Sortiment an sportiven E-Bikes, elektrisch angetriebenen Trekking und Urban Bikes, sowie E-City Bikes. Bald auch mit den Neuheiten aus diesem Katalog. Natürlich gibt es auch die passenden Accessoires, Anbauteile und den einen oder anderen Insider-Tipp für eine schöne Radstrecke. Dank der vielfältigen Möglichkeiten unseres bunten Viertels St. Pauli, bietet es sich an, die Bikes auch auf einer Proberunde zu testen – ganz egal, ob über die Reeperbahn, am Millerntor Stadion vorbei oder schnell mal zur nahe gelegenen Elbe.

Je nach Anspruch, Einsatzzweck und Fahrverhalten entwickeln wir hier den optimalen Rahmen, gepaart mit dem individuellen Bergamont Design. Langjährige Erfahrung, Einsatz moderner CAD-Verfahren, enge Kooperation mit unseren Komponenten-Partnern und permanenter Austausch mit unseren professionellen Teamfahrern geben uns die Möglichkeit, jedes Rad für seine Anwendungsbereiche optimal zu gestalten. Unser Kunde will und kann sich zu 100 % auf sein Bergamont Rad verlassen. It is here that we create our frames that deliver perfect riding characteristics for each individual application and discipline – all in our exclusive Bergamont look. Many years of experience, use of modern CAD tools, close cooperation with our suppliers and the constant discourse with our professional team riders all enable us to tune each bike to the exact specifications needed. Our customers want and can rely on our bikes 100 %. “German Precision Design” means to us, that we test new frames and bikes here in Germany under strict quality guidelines on industrial testing rigs for performance and durability. And because safety and riding pleasure also depends on first rate workmanship in every little detail, we only select quality components. For example: we always use hydraulic brakes on our E-bikes.

Punktspiele mit Herzklopfen-Garantie, Tabellendynamik, Spielerwechsel und eine mitfiebernde Fangemeinde. Da freuen wir uns, dass wir seit 2013 fest im Kader gesetzt sind.

Als „Stammspieler“, eigentlich eine Sponsoren-Kategorie, unterstützen wir die Fußballprofis und stellen ihnen unsere Bergamont Revox 29" Mountainbikes im speziellen St. PauliDesign zur Verfügung. Diese werden nach jedem Heimspiel noch im Stadion auf der Rolle zum Ausfahren verwendet. Weiter kommen die Räder rund um das Trainingsgelände Hamburg Niendorf, hauptsächlich im regenerativen Bereich, zum Einsatz. Mit von der Partie ist dann auch immer Cheftrainer Ewald Lienen.
We are what is called “Stammspieler”, a sponsorship tier where we support the players by providing the team with Bergamont Revox 29" mountainbikes in a special St. Pauli branding. After every home match these bikes are used on stationary rollers for a cool-down session. But of course our bikes also are ridden around the training area in Hamburg Niendorf for regenerative purposes. Always riding along is head coach Ewald Lienen.

Defense player Lasse Sobiech: “Training with the bikes is much more popular with the players than running.” Goalkeeper Robin Himmelmann also likes to ride in his off-time: “Much more practical, you are outdoors, see more of the beautiful city and during rush-hour after training, you are almost faster than going by car. Bergamont Hayes Components Team Dank der konsistent guten Ergebnisse liegt das Team im August 2015 auf Platz neun der UCI-Gesamtwertung. Im zweiten Jahr hat das Bergamont Hayes Components Team mit Casey Brown und Edward Masters seinen Platz unter den Besten der Welt eindrucksvoll bestätigt. Dieses Jahr neu dabei sind Rupert Chapman und Junior Max Warshawsky. Beide haben sich als perfekte Ergänzung erwiesen und ihren Teil zu diesem guten Ergebnis beigetragen.
Thanks to the consistent results in the downhill world cup, the team is placed a strong 9th overall in the UCI rankings in August 2015. Athletes Casey Brown and Edward Masters are in their second year with the team and two new members have joined for this season: Rupert Chapman and junior Max Warshawsky fit in perfectly and have already delivered solid results.

Endura Bergamont Factory Team Enduro ist die jüngste Wettbewerbsdisziplin in der Mountainbike-Welt. Unser Endura Bergamont Factory Team stellt sich den Herausforderungen der Enduro World Series mit unseren brandneuen EnCore Modellen. Momentan auf Platz 11 der Gesamtwertung, besteht das Team aus der Schottin Katy Winton, dem Neuseeländer Joseph Nation, sowie den deutschen Fahrern Ferdinand Brunold und André Kleindienst. André führt derzeit die Master-Klasse der SSES an und ist nach zahlreichen Podiumsplätzen auch Favorit auf den Gesamtsieg.

Enduro is the world’s latest competitive mountain bike discipline. Our Endura Bergamont Factory Team now meets the challenges of the Enduro World Series riding our brand new EnCore models. Currently ranked 11th overall, the team consists of athletes Katy Winton from Scotland and New Zealand’s Joseph Nation. Charging through the European competitions are Ferdinand Brunold and André Kleindienst, who is currently leading the Masters ranking at the SSES.

Bergamont Factory Team Ben Zwiehoff startet in diesem Jahr voll durch: So holt er sensationell mit der deutschen Mannschaft Gold im EM-Staffelwettbewerb und einen siebten Platz im Einzel. Dies zeugt von ausgezeichneter Form und einem peniblen Trainingsplan. Beste Voraussetzungen also für die kommenden Rennen, deren Ausgang für Ben mitentscheidend für eine Olympiaqualifikation 2016 ist. Gute Aussichten also für das langjährige Mitglied der Bergamont-Familie.
Ben Zwiehoff really is on fire this season: gold in the relay event at the European Championships, and a 7th place in the U23 race are testament to outstanding form and a meticulous training regime. The coming races will be decisive, as the results will determine his qualification for the 2016th Olympics. Things definitely look promising for this young rider, who has been part of the Bergamont family for many years.

Stefan Danowski ist unser Haudegen im Hamburger Umland. Neben seinem Job bei Airbus lässt er kaum ein MTB-Marathon-Rennen oder eine Cross-Challenge aus. Dort fährt er an der Spitze der Klasse Senioren 2 ganz vorne mit. So hat er 2015 den Deutschlandcup in Hamburg, in Lohne und in Bad Salzdetfurth gewonnen. Sowie die Hamburger- und Nordmeisterschaften Cross in Büdelsdorf. „Dano“ ist immer eine sichere Bank für Rennerfolge, ein Sportsmann und ein Vorbild für die Jugend durch und durch. Stefan Danowski, a Hamburg local and racing warhorse. He works at Airbus during the week but never misses a mountain bike marathon or cyclocross race. He races at the front of the Masters 2 class and has quite a track record. This year alone he won three races of the German Cup, he also won both the Hamburg and North-German Championships. Dano is always good for a podium finish, a perfect sportsman and certainly one to look up to.

Das Ergebnis zeigt Stadt und Land in vielen Facetten – die glitzernde Alster, die schnieken Elbvillen, der Sprung über die Elbe, das Weltkulturerbe Speicherstadt, die quicklebendige Schanze und die HafenCity. … is the universal greeting in Hamburg. It was here that Bergamont started business 20 years ago and with just a handful of mountainbikes. Today we are a well-established full-range manufacturer, who is represented in 30 countries worldwide. To honor our roots we shot our image pictures for the 2016 catalog direc tly here in our wonderful home town. We not only found loads of exciting places to present our new bikes in their natural habitat, we also reached out over Facebook to find some great locals to ride them. Just as we like to do ourselves we then packed our sportive models and went to the nearby Heath and the Harz mountains to produce some action packed shots there as well. The result is a multi-facetted picture of the city and its surroundings – the glittering Alster, the posh mansions on the side of river Elbe, the world heritage site Speicherstadt, where spices and herbs are traded even today, the lively Schanze district and the HafenCity. Just as diverse as Hamburg itself are the Bergamont Bikes: Urban mobility in its latest rendition and sportive models for all disciplines.
