This volume of The Scout Guide Main Line & Philadelphia marks eight years of celebrating the people behind these distinctive businesses – the entrepreneurs, visionaries, artists, makers, and doers who are inspired to take a risk, follow their passion, and never give up on their dream.

The Scout Guide was created more than 15 years ago to support and save local businesses, who are truly the backbone of our communities. We celebrate the people behind so many of these treasured businesses on the Main Line & Philadelphia who share a commitment to our community. It is always my hope that this guide inspires discovery, but my greatest wish is that this guide inspires a newfound appreciation for what this collective of small businesses represents and how much they contribute to making our lives better on a local level.

Over the next year, we will proudly be introducing you to each of these business owners through our local guide, website, and social media platforms. My immense gratitude always begins with this amazing group of TSG members who continues in the mission of The Scout Guide and continue to support what we strive to do for each of their businesses and our local business community both on the Main Line and throughout Philadelphia.

I encourage you to share the guide with family and friends, and support local whenever you can.
