The Survivor Challenge is now looking for a Team Lead for each section event and a Team Lead for the social media team. The link to apply for these roles is here
1. Survivor Challenge Section Team Leads (5)
The Survivor Challenge is available for all sections in separate events – Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers. The responsibilities of each Team Lead are broadly the same and outlined below.
Role Summary for all Survivor Challenge Section Team Leads
· Oversee the Survivor Challenge Programme specific to the relevant section
· Ensure the effective planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of the event
· Manage a team of programme scouters working on the event
· Co-ordinate and work with internal and external stakeholders
· Ensure the event programme goals align with the ONE Programme and the learning objectives for each section

· Strong understanding of the core principles of the Survivor Challenge Programme
· Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
2. Survivor Challenge Social Media Team Lead
Role Summary
· Develop and execute the social media strategy for the Survivor Challenge.
· Enhance brand awareness, engage the target audiences and drive the goals of each Survivor Team.
· Oversee the work of the Survivor Challenge social media team
· Manage all social media accounts
· Lead on content creation, community engagement and relevant partnerships
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies.
· Lead and inspire a team to raise awareness of the Survivor Challenge events.
· Liaise with the event Team Leads to develop a social media strategy for each Survivor Challenge event.
· Liaise with the organisation’s Communications Team as necessary to promote the events.
