Annie Seo, piano

Annie Seo is a senior at Emory University pursuing a double major in applied mathematics and statistics and music. She is originally from Seattle and has been playing piano for 16 years. Seo has studied solo and collaborative piano works under Elena Cholakova for the past four years. Seo has performed collaborative works at various festivals where she was recognized as an outstanding soloist. She has also performed in the pit orchestra for various musicals such as The Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors, and Assassins. Outside of music, Seo leads Emory FLIP (FirstGen, Low-income Partnership) to build resources and create an inclusive community for FLI students. She also directs Women in STEM to provide career-related support for women who are pursuing male-dominated STEM fields. Additionally, Seo is the recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship and Bill Fox Scholarship. Upon graduating, Seo will work as a software engineer in San Francisco.
