2022 CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP
ALAN SORENSEN, PGA, ENTERS WINNER CIRLCE FOR THIRD TIME
MIRA LOMA, CA (July 25-26, 2022) - Alan Sorensen of Buena Vista Golf Course is crowned the champion at the 2022 Southern California Senior PGA Professional Championship at Goose Creek Golf Club.

Sorensen now enters the winner circle for the third time at the Senior Section Championship, having also won in 2017 and 2020.
Alan fired a final round of six-under par, 65 to go with his first round of 69 to finish at eight-under par, 134 total and one shot clear of runner-up Rick Garboski. Sorensen carded seven birdies to his lone bogey, with a crucial up-and-down par save on the closing hole to win the championship.
Sorensen will lead ten other PGA Professionals to the 34th Senior PGA Professional Championship on October 13-16, 2022 at Twin Warriors & Santa Ana Golf Clubs in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM. In addition, five alternates will hope to get the call to be entered into the prestigious field.
