The team at Nailympia London would like to thank REM for its continued support of the event by providing nail stations every year to the arena. The team at REM arrives to build each nail station, returns to flat pack the desks and then stores them safely for a year. Thanks to REM the Nailympia London arena has looked striking, sharp, clean and crisp every year. www.rem.co.uk www.scratchmagazine.co.uk

Nailympia is the sister-brand to Scratch magazine. Scratch was established in May 2003 by Scott Derbyshire and Alex Fox, Scratch is the world’s leading publication for nail professionals. Its printed magazine lands with subscribers on a monthly basis, and is complemented by daily news, features and opportunities across Scratch’s website and social media platforms.

The flagship publication in the Seed Publishing Ltd portfolio, Scratch has an unrivalled loyal readership and is dedicated to producing groundbreaking content for the professional nail sector. With its finger firmly on the pulse of the nail world, Scratch enjoys global recognition for its stunning visuals, trusted content and relentless passion to inform and inspire the nail professional both in print and online.

Under the Scratch magazine remit, Seed Publishing Ltd introduced the only awards solely dedicated to the UK nail industry in 2012; the Scratch Stars Awards, held annually to celebrate the achievements of nail technicians, salons and businesses within the UK nail sector. The awards perfectly complements the Seed Publishing Ltd philosophy of passion, achievement and uncompromising focus.

Its latest addition, under the expert eye of managing editor Helena Biggs, is the launch of World’s Star Nail Artist (WSNA). This global online competition is an opportunity for creative nail experts to immerse in themed challenges across 10 weeks.

Sponsored by CND, it unites the global nail industry in a fantastic series of nail art challenges that sees entrants whittled down to a final three. A nail artist is eliminated after each stage, before the final three nail artists are invited to London, where the winner will be announced on Sunday 23 July.
