1 Canteen Manyone & S. Duvald
Key Words Spatial Design Qualitative Research Brand Development Project Management
The project ‘Canteen’ was a four months project for Manyone Copenhagen. The floor should contain seating for 70 people, a presentation area and another meeting room. We used qualitative research methods to identify obstacles and problems in our current canteen and office areas to create solutions that help to use the canteen better on a daily basis. We observed the daily procedure in the canteen and interviewed the office managers as well as a handful employees on how to improve the canteen experience. By hosting meetings with the management, we we’re able to meet the final decisions and get approvals within deadlines & the project was completed under budget. Me and my team made the research and designed the space. We had a few meetings with Managment to take final decisions and get approvals. Based on the floor plan, we designed the Corporate Visual Identity for the interior of our offices. The floor was launched in May 2020. interviews with Employees desk research

2 Unlearn Designit
Key Words Multi Method Research User-centered Research Framework creation Graphic Design
The thesis elaborates on the question “How might unlearning contribute to a creative consultancy that is facing change every day? For my literature review, I included the field of philosophy, social sciences and psychology to investigate the term Unlearning, also in consideration of Learning and Change. Throughout that process I interviewed Prof. Dr. M. Kiel (Professor at UDK Berlin, researching Unlearning and presenting it at Bauhaus Summit in Dessau). Desk research and qualitative research such as informal conversations, material from the kickoff workshop of Futures and an intervention from which I gained pre-empirical data helped me to create the questionnaire for 10 interviews that were held with Designit’s employees. I used metaphors and their visual data as well as the interviews to highlight my findings. The thesis concludes with the perspective of Business Design as a contribution to this research and suggest further approaches.

3 Extended Curiosity & Motivation R. Turtianinen, L. Walker & Kungsbacka Municipality
Key Words Experience Design Interaction Design Service Design Curation of Exhibition
Kungspacka municipality implemented Innovationskraft, a project that teaches employees of the ward design thinking. For 12 weeks, we worked closely together with the team, observed, interviewed, shadowed and participated in the trainings. We focused on the following question: what makes you learn new skills? We created interventions and workshops to co-create ideas on how to boost the learning of their employees. We created an experience map. It is a method used to understand the connections and insights of peoples experience. The result was ‘The Concept of Extended Curiosity and Motivation’ and our artwork consisting of 27 drawers. It is divided into four different interactions: sense&feel, do, watch and think. All experiences are created and transferred from the knowledge we gained. The outcome was later exhibited for half a year at different departments of the municipality.

Key Words Music creation Music editing Feedback sessions Reality and Virtuality
I supported Elisabeth Suter during her bachelor diploma in Visual Communication. I created a music composition for her short film. Her film narrates: How does the internet influence our lives? How do people cope with isolation and loneliness? What is actually important in life? The Covid-19 pandemic made her bachelor diploma focused on screen work and online participation. I supported her with feedback and the production of the music. Please click on the picture to see the video.

5 Upside Down Wallpaper Hongik University
Key Words Photography Ethnographic research Reality & ‘Irrelality’ Spatial Design
‘Upside Down Wallpaper’ narrates Seoul and its fast technological and infrastructural development since WWII. In the beginning of my process to work the development of Seoul, I had informal conversations with fellow students and their Korean friends from which I gained knowledge around psychological struggles of the citizens, having to ‘keep face’. It gave me the insight to present a work that showcases the insight of private homes. The apartments in Seoul are dark and small, it is often impossible to have a view out. At the same time the project discusses reality, ‘irreality’ and ‘virtuality’ with the original creation of photography. By creating room obscuras, the outside worlds becomes one with the insight world of the room. The project is presented in the form of a book, showcasing 10 different spaces. The outcome is book that sparks conversation around both topics, society and our understanding of reality.

6 Round Round Pin Hongik University
Key Words Product Design 3D Design Digital Media
The challenge for this project was to create a 3D model which could be folded or stacked and would be created with the laser-cutting machine. I decided to create a camera that fits a 35mm film. It took several iterations to create the camera. The offset needed to be in exact order for the material not to be ruined but also so that the inner box would be completely black keeping the film inserted. I had not used 3D programs before studying at Hongik University. During the first months I was working with several different 3D programs until I started to design and created this model in Rhino. I designed the model as following: the round shape is the design of the handling of the camera itself. The technical parts which include the stacking of the camera are designed in squares. 7 Election Cabin L. Frank., J. Litzl & Carolin Rรถhske
Key Words Architecture Bodily Experience User-centered Design Curation of Exhibition
During 12 weeks we designed an election cabin model build on the values of Miljรถpartiet, targeting to improve the quality of life and nature. The elecation cabin should be situated in Brunsparken in Gothenburg, integrating the infrastructure of the park and including the social and societal problems of this square. The process began with observing the park and people passing trough. We used bodily experience to understand heights and distances to finalise our scaled model of the park and our cabin. The election cabin resulted in 5 cubes. Instead of a traditional election cabin, we offered innovative experiences combining value sharing with artistic participation. The final result was presented in an exhibition at the HDK University.
