Anuli Njoku, Associate Professor Of Public Health
RECENT HONOR: In 2023, she was named a Fulbright Specialist of Global/Public Health by the U.S. Department of State and completed a project at Universidade Regional do Cariri in Ceará, Brazil. The project goal: to exchange knowledge and establish partnerships through a variety of educational and training activities.
HER RESEARCH AND TEACHING SPECIALTIES INCLUDE: health disparities, cultural competency in higher education, health promotion and education, health equity, environmental health, rural health, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Njoku has developed and taught more than 20 undergraduate and graduate public health courses.
EDUCATION: Njoku did postdoctoral training at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She earned three public health degrees: a doctorate from Drexel University, a master’s from Boston University, and a bachelor’s from Rutgers University.
