Sport Clubs A sport club is a registered student organization formed by individuals motivated by common interest and desire to participate in a favorite sport activity. Sport clubs vary in focus and programming since student members manage the operation of the club and decide club activities. A sport club may be competitive, recreational, social or all of these: Sports Leadership Skills Team Work Inclusion To be an active member of a sport club please contact the club president or Delaydia Frink @ delaydia.frink@stcloudstate.edu

Intramural Sports The Intramural Sports Program offers a variety of leagues, tournaments, challenges, and events each semester. Intramural sport games are played between players and teams from within the University community, as opposed to external competitors. Intramural Sports does not provide intercollegiate competition or practice time. Traditionally, Intramural Sports registration is hosted through IMLeagues. All Intramural sport events are open to students, faculty, and staff with current memberships.
Club Sports Are recognized student organizations, formed by students, providing opportunities to be on a team and participate in a variety of sports and activities. A club sport must be competitive in nature. Although it varies from club to club, most clubs practice 2-3 times per week and compete against other collegiate teams across the state, region, and even nation. Participation in club sports is a great opportunity for students, faculty, and staff. They provide the opportunity to find a community, stay active, explore different opportunities, and thrive. All skill levels are encouraged to join. For general questions please contact Delaydia Frink at Delaydia.Frink@stcloudstate.edu.
8
Extramural Sports Extramural sport opportunities for basketball, flag football, esports, and more occur throughout the year on an annual basis. Regional tournament opportunities are available for teams and officials to advance their skills and try to earn bids to Nationals where applicable.
Greek Life Intramurals By having the chance to play on the intramural sports teams in the Greek-specific league, which includes 5 fraternities and 4 sororities, members in these campus chapters have the opportunity to be active in another setting and activity that allows participants to become familiar with the people in their chapter. Playing in Greek life intramural leagues or games can provide an appropriate environment and setting to meet people from other Greek life chapters across campus. It also allows them to have a gateway to become more involved in the intramural sports league in general.
