Basic diver course The basic diver is entry-level to learn scuba diving. A basic diver course certifies you up to 12 meters of depth. A dive instructor helps you to learn some basic skills of diving. Open Water Diver Course The open water dive course is a level 1 program and a person with good swimming skills can directly join the program by skipping the basic diver course. OWD course certifies you up to 18 meters of dive depth along with 10 skills. You have to pass a 200 meters swimming test and 300 meters snorkel and float test before enrolling for the OWD course. The schedule of the OWD course will be as follows Day 1 — Basic skills and 1 shore dive Day 2 — Basic skills and 1 shore dive Day 3 — Advanced skills and 2 boat dives (60 minutes break after 1 boat dive) Day 4 — Advanced skills and 2 boat dives (60 minutes break after 1 boat dive) On completion of all 6 dives, you have to pass a basic written exam. The exam is helpful to recap all the skills taught by the instructor and fruitful for smooth and safe diving. After the necessary paperwork, you will be issued an SSI certification and a logbook to note down your dives. The open water diver course costs INR 27000 per person.

Advanced Open water diver course You can enroll in an advanced open water diver course on completion of the open water diver course. Advanced open water certifies you up to 30 meters of dive depth. The dive program includes 20 skills including right-react, navigation, and perfect buoyancy. Advanced open water includes 5 dives and the specialties are deep diving, night diving, boat diving, peak performance buoyancy, and underwater navigation.
