mercury Identity Guidelines Basic Elements


foreword This document gives the basic guidelines for the elements that make up Mercury’s corporate identity. The information covers the company logo, typefaces and corporate colours. A well designed and consistent identity is important to our company. A strong visual identity shows strenght in an organisation and these guidelines should be for the most part kept to.

This section is cocerned with the idenitity and logo of Mercury. It is important to observe the use of the logo in reproductin to preserve the companies corporate identity. It is important to keep the logo consistent throughout the company. Shown here are acceptable applications of the mercury logo.

Exclusion zone for logo. The exclusion zone indicated by the orange bounding box shows the space around the logo that no other graphic elements should be placed or overlap.

typeface The typefaces used by Mercury are Jeunesse Reguar and ITC Kabel Book. Headings Should be in ITC Kabel Book at no more than 13 pt. In either black or Mercury orange. Body Text This should be in Jeunesse Regular and no bigger than 12pt.

further usage The logo could be used on other products associated with the company. Shown here are the sizing and placement of the logo on staff uniform including a polo shirt and waterproof jacket which woulf be used by delivery drivers which is made from mercury materials.

further usage Shown here is the use of the logo on delivery vehicles. The example shown here is of a van but the same placement would also apply to a large lorry or a company car.
