In this house simplicity and modernism go together. A warm world is created for a family of 3 at Gadag, Karnataka, amidst elegance and a sense of style. With a freehand in design and client's strong view on his requirements has made this house is a cut above the rest. The Koti design spells comfort and simple contemporary lifestyle and minimalism. The design has also managed to create a house that integrates inside and outside with an ease. A contemporary design is conceived with lots of interconnected and flowing spaces. The home strikes just the right balance between comfort and rustic simplicity.

resplendent The living and dining areas overlooking the water body evokes a seamless flow of spaces. The streamlined look of the living room is dramatized by colours and textures. The rustic flooring lends an old world charm to the space. The water body with stepping stones leading to the pooja room makes a stunning dramatic statement. Clever lighting and play of levels create interest in the transition from living to dining area. Aesthetics, comfort and functionality are the terms that best define the three bedrooms. Artifacts, paintings, sculptures, accessories lend this home a special charm. Most of the wood used here, is from client's previous house. The family space is innovative utilization of the landing area of the staircase overlooking the water body below. A clever and playful use of vibrant colours creates a unique ambience.

the challenges As per the clients requirement, the main challenge was to create a visual connectivity through the house. The varying volumes and levels facilitate in achieving the same, thus generating light filled spacious looking interiorized space.
