Hello! Welcome to the first ever East Sussex College Live interactive showcase event! The merger of Sussex Downs College and Sussex Coast College was finalised this year and we are excited to welcome you to our new and improved College. ESC Live is the first event of its kind – a new type of open event, showcasing the College as you’ve never seen it before.
Rebecca Conroy Principal, East Sussex College Eastbourne
Every aspect of this showcase is live and interactive. See live classroom settings and hands-on demonstrations of the courses you are interested in. Book a slot at one of our live surgeries: if you need help with your College application, have questions about apprenticeships, future careers, finance, or even how we support students with learning difficulties and disabilities, we’ve got you covered. We have live performances by Music and Performing Arts students and some of our successful alumni! Have a go at activites from glow sports to analysing a crime scene, and so much in between! Enjoy the refreshments provided – just exchange your voucher at the food tent. Our Eastbourne campus offers a wide range of courses including excellent provision in A Levels, vocational qualifications and foundation learning courses. Whichever path you choose into Further Education, at East Sussex College we encourage students to aim for the highest standards. We strive for an adult atmosphere in which responsibility and freedom are evenly balanced. Our ethos here at ESC is ‘work your hardest to be your best’. You will see evidence of this as you explore our campus today. I hope you take this opportunity to explore the College and really get a feel for the environment. If we can help you in any way during or after the event then please do get in touch with our course advice team.
