S TA G E D PAY M E N T S If your course fee is over £200 and the duration is 12 weeks or more, then you can arrange to pay in stages using the College Staged Payment Scheme. Please contact us or complete the online form to arrange a payment plan.
CONCESSIONS FOR LEISURE COURSES Concessions are available on many of our leisure courses. For instance, if you are aged 60 and over at the start of the course, you may be eligible for a 20% reduction in course fees. F E E PA I D BY YO U R EMPLOYER? If your employer is paying your course fees, please ensure they have filled in the Employer Sponsorship section of the enrolment form. Your employer will also need to sign the form and provide a Purchase Order number. It is advisable that you do this to avoid any delay in starting your course.
19+ LEARNER LOANS This is a Government loan that is available to anyone over 19, wanting to study a Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course. To qualify for this loan you must have lived in the UK for more than three years and have ‘settled status’. You pay back your loan (plus interest) when you finish your course and earn more than £26,575 a year. If you study an Access to Higher Education course and go to University, then you will not need to pay back the loan. For more information please visit www.gov.uk.

Our university-style campus caters for a whole range of specialist adult courses. The purpose-built facilities include our Construction & Engineering workshops, Music recording studios, and Catering facilities in the Kings Building, which is home to our Kings Restaurant.
Situated in the heart of Lewes town, our charming campus in Lewes is a true reflection of its quaint and traditional surroundings.
Getting here is easy via public transport links from Eastbourne town centre and the surrounding areas. We also have plenty of parking on-site. HOW TO GET TO US
It is home to our Evolve Eco Salon, the East Sussex Academy of Music (ESAM), and well-equipped art studios.
HASTINGS CAMPUSES
Train Hampden Park station is a 10-minute walk from campus and has regular trains throughout the day. Bus There are regular buses throughout the day which travel to Eastbourne campus from the local area and further afield. Car Permit and guest parking is available at Eastbourne campus. Please enquire at ECAT reception. Bikes & Mopeds All of our campuses have bike racks or shelters where you can lock your bikes.
Our modern campuses in Hastings are home to a range of fantastic courses. At our Station Plaza campus we have commercial Hair and Beauty salons (with a Jacuzzi!) and Art studios. At our Ore Valley campus, we have a range of realistic working environments and construction workshops. Our Automotive Centre (ATC) is just like a real working garage. HOW TO GET TO US Train Station Plaza is next to Hastings train station and Ore Valley is a two-minute walk from Ore train station. Bus There are regular buses throughout the day which travel to, or near, all of our campuses. Car Parking is available at OV and the ATC. There is plenty of pay and display car parks near the Station Plaza. Bikes & Mopeds All of our campuses have bike racks or shelters where you can lock your bikes /mopeds.
Lewes train station is just a short walk from the campus, and there are regular buses into Lewes bus station from the surrounding area. HOW TO GET TO US Train Lewes train station is a seven-minute walk from campus and has regular trains to most destinations. NE WHAVEN CAMPUS
Based on Denton Island in the heart of the town centre, our Newhaven site is a bespoke training centre for adult learners, with less of a ‘campus’ feel than its sister sites. The town centre, train station and redeveloped marina are all in close walking distance. We offer leisure courses, professional training qualifications and re-engagement programmes for adults. We also offer Trades Union Congress Education courses, providing quality training to representatives. HOW TO GET TO US Train Newhaven Town train station is a five-minute walk from campus and has regular trains to Seaford, Lewes and Eastbourne. Bus Newhaven is on the main bus route from Brighton to Eastbourne and has a fantastic service stopping right in town and by the train station.

Do you want to study a degree but you need to update your qualifications? Our Access to Higher Education courses are an excellent route to university, which will enable you to study your chosen degree course. The Access course lasts one academic year and is structured in a way that enables you to manage your commitments outside of college - an important consideration for adult students. Students should be at least 19 years old at the start of the course. Our course has outstanding success rates and is very well respected by universities, both locally and nationally; in addition to academic tuition, you will receive the support of a Pathway tutor, who will provide academic and pastoral support throughout the course.

Summer School Ceramics
Ceramics Personal Development Summer Course This short course is perfect for if you have some ceramics experience and you’re keen to develop your own creative and technical potential. We have excellent facilities and a friendly, creative working studio. Firing costs are extra and calculated on weight.
You will have a very productive week where you will produce a selection of work in our ceramics studio. We will cover basic ceramic skills such as coiling, slab building and modelling, using these to produce a range of finished pieces.
