FROM THE FOUNDER

Happy Springtime to you! A true joy to experience in the great outdoors! But the robber of that joy can be chronic inflammation which is yours, mine and all humanity’s greatest health risk. There is a reason that Harvard Medical School calls it a silent killer, as most all preventable disease conditions are associated with it.

And we all experience one or more of the following factors that may increase the risk of chronic inflammation which are: older age, obesity, a diet rich in unhealthy fats (such as trans and saturated fats) that promote spikes in insulin (such as sugars, processed carbohydrates), stress, sleep problems, lack of physical activity and smoking are some of the most obvious.

One of the factors most TriVita members have is older age in addition to the stress in the world we live in today. If you are watching any news commentators, you are stressed. Why is aging a factor? There are books that could be and are written, about aging and inflammation, but the short version is chronic inflammation over a time-based period. In the ancient days of saber-toothed tigers, it was necessary to be stressed temporarily to fight off the tiger. Today, we have replaced the saber-tooth tiger with the news media that play to our fears and concerns leading to chronic stress. NOT GOOD! That condition inflames and, over time, creates chronic inflammation and can cause the weakening of your cellular health, organs and systems.

From my own personal health crisis years ago, stress and the lack of sleep completely robbed my health and my quality of life. When I went on my wellness journey and discovered, one by one, the Ten Essentials of Wellness, today and daily, I live with greater wellness and intentionally ward off those factors contributing to chronic inflammation. I encourage you to do a lifestyle, and self-care evaluation and determine the factors listed above as potential chronic inflammation health risks for you. You have the God-given power to make choices to promote wellness.

I also encourage you to browse the catalog for products, to help you manage inflammation and support the wonderful body that God, our creator, has designed for you.

I hope you will get out and enjoy the beauty of spring and His creation!

Blessings

It’s about healthy longevity. There is no fountain of youth, but there are things that can help. Nopalea is effective and has the properties to help detox and be anti-inflammatory, and I’m feeling those things. Movement is my Rx if you will and Nopalea is instrumental in helping me continue a lifetime of movement.”
