Counterfeit Prescription Drugs Are Killing Our Kids in Record Numbers
Talking to your children about the dangers of fentanyl is a must. The fentanyl crisis is a real and deadly epidemic and it only takes one pill to kill someone you love. Our youth are living in unprecedented times when it comes to dangerous, camouflaged drugs. Experimenting with drugs or thinking “I’ll just try it once,” is more deadly than ever before. Just 2 mg of fentanyl is considered to
be lethal and many counterfeit pills contain up to 5 mg.
This mission is personal to the Ellison family. Chase Michael Ellison was not a drug addict. Unlike those who have abused drugs for long periods of time, Chase lost his life just after taking what he thought was a pharmacy-made prescription of Xanax. On January 23rd, 2021, Chase was staying with his grandparents who were home at the time. They found him around 3:00 pm in the guest room, deceased. Had the family
known more about the danger and risk of counterfeit prescription drugs containing fentanyl it is very possible this tragic loss could have been prevented.

Drugabusestatistics.org states that 46.6% of kids experiment with drugs at least once by grade 12. Many of these teen-related experiments are with opioids and illegally obtained counterfeit prescription drugs such as Xanax, Percocet, Adderall, Oxycodone and Vicodin. Today, drug experimentation is more dangerous than ever before because many of these pills are being illegally produced by drug cartels and are laced with fentanyl. Drug cartels are now producing pills to look like they are coming from a pharmacy so the user is assuming they are safe when in fact they are not. This emerging drug distribution deceives our nation’s youth and is destroying so many lives.
Counterfeit Pills Laced with Fentanyl Accounted for 77% of Teen Overdoses in 2021
In 2021 More than 20 million Counterfeit Prescription Pills Laced with Fentanyl, were Seized, Which is More than the Last Two Years Combined
The Numbers are Rising. We Must Stop Them!
Just one experiment with a counterfeit prescription drug containing fentanyl can kill you or someone you love. Let’s join together to stop this epidemic that is killing our children.

We Give More Than a Handout. We Give a Hand Up.
At TriVita, we do more than offer dietary supplements to promote healthy living. We want to help you spiritually, emotionally and physically. We also want to help those in need and educate the community about the reallife dangers of human trafficking, lack of clean drinking water and the overwhelming opioid crisis the nation is experiencing.
Our charity foundation of choice is called House of Giving. House of Giving is a Christian faith-based 501 C-3, not-for-profit organization dedicated to doing acts of good for those in need.
Our mission is to provide guidance, support, and relief to the individuals and communities we serve, and we firmly believe everyone should have the opportunity to live with spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness.
Founded in 2001 by Michael R. Ellison, for more than twenty years, the House of Giving has been blessed to successfully bring clean water, nutrition, and education to suffering and deserving communities in need of help. Past missions have included building a well for a needy community in Africa and partnering with the Dream Center in Phoenix, AZ to refurbish rooms for survivors of human trafficking. This time it’s personal. Tragedy struck TriVita’s founder’s family when Chase Michael Ellison passed due to counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl. This sad and tragic loss inspired the launch of the One Pill Killed campaign.
