Introducing:
ValYou
Introducing ValYou ValYou is an integrated application that allows customers to quickly and easily find home service providers in their local area. Valpak will use existing business relationships with Samsung and Google to provide a streamlined entrance into the marketplace. Our vision is a simple overlay of Google Maps that allows customers to view insured and bonded home service providers in their area. By partnering with Samsung, we can use their existing customer base of smartphone customers as Google Maps drives their search queries.
Why ValYou? ● Combines the strength of Valpak’s brand with accessibility and power of Google and Samsung ● Integrates with already existing technology to decrease costs and barriers to the market ● The cheapest and most effective way for Valpak to enter the home services market ● Suppliers must register and prove that they are licensed, bonded and insured ● Allows the merger of customers and contractors with the trusted voice of Valpak as the liaison

Brand Awareness Though ValPak is already a household name we want to make ValYou the first stop that families go to when looking for On-Demand Home services. We are primarily targeting families that are new to the area and need assistance in finding the right company to help improve their current lifestyle. We want to make sure that we are right their with them through all their moving touchpoints including places like the DMV - where they would be getting their new licenses - and on their local cable channels - where they would be learning about the area. ValYou will also use ValPak’s current distribution to help market and vice versa. Businesses that are currently paying for marketing space in the ValPak blue envelope will be able to add on their link to the ValYou map. Members of ValYou will also be able to sign up for the blue envelope if their house is not currently receiving the special offers. This will help both companies while also helping the customer with getting involved in the way that they choose.
ValYou’s target market will be based mostly off of individuals that are relocating to a new area.
Target Market
The first market we will be testing is the Tampa Bay Area. We will then continue to expand throughout Florida.
Why the Tampa Bay Area? Second most populated area of Florida with 2,824,724 people as of 2011. According to CNN, Money it is one of the top 10 areas to move to. Florida as a whole has about 1000 individuals moving to it daily. MacDill Air Force Base is one of the biggest employers in the area bringing families from all over the US to the Tampa Bay Area.

○ Small/medium organizations

Partnerships Valpak has a long history of strategic partnerships that have helped strengthen their overall brand. We can limit the effects of Porter’s Five Forces by joining forces with the competition instead of instigating a rivalry. The strength of the Valpak brand can be leveraged into a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with a potential competitor.
