SDPB Wins Two National Edward R. Murrow Awards

The Radio Television Digital News Association has been honoring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of electronic journalism.

SDPB won two 2020 national Edward R. Murrow Awards for Small Market Radio:

Stanley Weber, a pediatrician for Indian Health Services on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation from 1986 to 2016, was tried and convicted in a federal court in Rapid City for abusing young Native American boys under his care. Victoria Wicks, producer.
