[New] MUSIc MATTERS

Music Matters explores the how and why music matters to you, our community and our featured artist. This month’s Music Matters introduces four musical guests. From the West, Black Hills rock and blues singer/songwriter, Chris Huisenga is South Dakota’s phoenix of the prairie. From Sioux Falls, the album DAKOTA, by traditional American music singer/songwriter Nathan Barrow, celebrates South Dakota history and culture. Then, we emphasize the significance of being a South Dakota artist through alternative Sioux Falls based band Sun Daze, a duo comprised of Wes Eisenhauer and Brandon Phrommany (aka Juke the Tiger). To close, Ameri’Kana rock-nroll and Latin American rhythm band Making Movies explores the unifying and healing power of music.
