Tiffany Mastin-McCampbell Head Coach/Assistant AD/SWA Phone: (605) 394-2643 Email: Tiffany.McCampbell@sdsmt.edu

Tiffany McCampbell enters her fourth season as the South Dakota School of Mines Head Volleyball Coach. In 2011, she led the Hardrockers to a 25-7 overall record, finishing with the second highest win percentage (84%) in Hardrocker Volleyball program history. In addition, this team produced a 15-match win streak during the 2011 campaign. I twas a vast improvement in the Hardrockers' record from the 2009 and 2010 seasons in which the team finished with a record of 9-19 and 10-18 respectively. During Coach McCampbell's time at SD Mines, her teams have finished fourth (2009) and seventh (2010) in the Dakota Athletic Conference volleyball standings, as well as being awarded the AVCA Team Academic Award all three years. Over the past three years, Coach McCampbell's career coaching record at SD Mines is 46-42, and on the academic side, the Hardrockers have consistently averaged over a 3.5 GPA. During the 2007 and 2008 seasons, McCampbell was the head volleyball coach at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo. In 2007, her team qualified for the MIAA Conference Tournament. Prior to MWSU, she was the head coach for two seasons at Oakland City University in Oakland City, Ind. In 2006, they were the NCCAA Mid East Regional Champions, qualifying for the 2006 NCCAA National Tournament. Coach McCampbell's 2006 recruiting class took the OCU program from a 3-21 mark in 2005 to a 16-13 mark in 2006, as well as a sixth- place finish during the 2006 NCCAA National Tournament. In addition, the 2005 team received the AVCA/Game Plan Team Academic Award with an overall team GPA of 3.6.

Jennie Malone Assistant Coach Phone: (605) 394-2605 Email: Jennifer.Malone@sdsmt.edu

Former standout student-athlete Jennie Malone has accepted the Hardrocker volleyball assistant coaching position for the 2011 season. "Jennie is a former student-athlete from the South Dakota School of Mines where she was a standout volleyball and basketball player," said Lady Hardrocker head coach Tiffany McCampbell. "I believe she has a very good understanding of the type of student-athlete that we recruit specifically to SD Mines. With a little bit of time we will be able to adjust her to the type of characteristics we are looking for specifically for volleyball." Malone, who graduated in 2008 with an Industrial Engineering degree, holds numerous single-season and career records in both volleyball and basketball. Since graduation, she has been working at the Malone Engineering Incorporated in Rapid City. This will be her first opportunity to coach promising Hardrocker athletes. One of the major advantages of having Malone on the 'Rocker volleyball coaching staff is her college experience at South Dakota Mines as a student-athlete and how she will be able to relate that to the current volleyball players. Malone's main duties will be assisting with practice and in matches and will eventually help in developing and growing the program for the NCAA Div. II switch.
