“
I feel that even though it is a big primary school it has a very personal feel to it and I would recommend ‘Grove Park’ to anyone looking for a primary school.
”
Welcome to our Grove Park is a thriving and popular Primary School in Sittingbourne. We became an Academy in 2012 and have established an excellent reputation within our community. I consider it a great honour to be the Headteacher of such a successful school, where we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment in which children can thrive. At Grove Park we have a talented team of Teachers, Teaching Assistants and other staff, all of whom work hard to meet the needs of all our students. The school is set in beautiful, well equipped grounds that provide our children with superb facilities; we have the latest computer technology in all classrooms (including two fully equipped computer suites). Grove Park School is dedicated to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential, not only through academic success but also in their social, moral, spiritual, creative and physical development. Every child is special to us and we regard their time at Grove Park as an opportunity to work with parents in order to fully develop their potential. If you would like to find out more, please do call or contact the school directly, and we will be happy to make an appointment to meet you. Céranne Litton B.Ed(Hons), NPQH, M.A. Ed Headteacher

Learning At Grove School we take children aged 4 – 11 and teach them in accordance with the National Curriculum, Key Stages 1 and 2. However, we feel very strongly that ‘education’ shouldn’t be confined to the curriculum and so we endeavour to make every part of the school day an opportunity for students to learn and grow.
We operate a house system, as we feel that this encourages a sense of belonging and team work. There are four houses and house colours: Bobbing, Bapchild, Borden and Bredgar and children can earn house points by doing well in class.
By encouraging students to work together throughout the We understand that every child learns in different school day, we are forging ways and at different speeds, so all our work is positive attitudes and appropriately differentiated and delivered using a relationships that will variety of teaching methods with a mixture of: last a lifetime.
• Looking (Visual learning) • Listening (Auditory learning) • Doing (Kinaesthetic learning) In addition to this, children are encouraged to work collaboratively and develop a range of skills that will benefit them far beyond their time at our school.

‘The children feel valued and their work and achievements are celebrated.
”
Our dedication to providing a well-rounded and fulfilling school experience extends beyond the classroom and we have set in place a series of procedures and protocols that ensure the safety and wellbeing of every one of our students.
“
In my experience the staff will go the extra mile. Pastoral care is brilliant!!
”
We operate a policy of tolerance and encourage our students to be accepting of one another in every respect. Although our assemblies embrace a predominantly Christian ethos, we promote an all-encompassing approach to Religious Education, with lessons on different belief systems taught regularly from Year 1.
Nurturing “
If you need help there is always someone to talk to, any questions you have will be listened to.
”
All our staff have received the appropriate training to ensure that they are fully capable of protecting and safeguarding our students at all times. We have worked hard within our school to establish a range of outstanding facilities intended to support our students’ education and give them the best possible school experience. In addition to this, we work to promote positive relationships within the wider community and create an active support network for students and their parents.
