We pride ourselves on our exceptional pastoral care. LPGS is a Rights Respecting School. In addition to academic success, we will help you develop as confident, creative individuals and leaders, able to contribute to the community and the wider world. We want you to be able to make an informed, sensible decision about your next step, whether it be towards A Levels that will give you entry to university or into vocational courses that will be a stepping stone to employment. If you need any help with these decisions you are welcome to contact a member of the Sixth Form Team.

Our Sixth Form is vibrant, diverse, successful and growing. About three quarters of students from Year 11 choose to stay on because they’ve discovered that our supportive staff and friendly atmosphere combine with challenging expectations and high standards to guarantee future success. Why you should Ioin n PGS our Sixth Form at LPGS Joseph Button School Captain; Head Boy !ack in early 2015 I had my interview with LPGS about Ioining the Sixth Form. I was surprised with how organised the system was: Prefects on the door helping people or answering questions a waiting room and even tea and coƤee served to teachers. Fifteen months later and now I’m one of the prefects. Since last year I’ve come a long way and gone from a not so good school to this one and the only problem with being here is that I’m already halfway through my time here. The teachers here know what they are doing and they will support you through A Levels 100%. Chloé Kibblewhite School Captain; Head Girl Having been a student at LPGS since Year I have been provided with so many opportunities. The various extra-curricular activities on oƤer make school life enIoyable and rewarding with the choice to be involved in as much or as little as you would like to. Likewise the possibilities for enrichment are endless but overall the welcoming Sixth Form environment enables all students to have an enIoyable experience here at Langley Park School for Girls. The teachers are both understanding and approachable with a genuine interest in their subIect. Jaquarn Nelson Vice Captain ‘Self-motivational’ ‘rights respecting’ and ‘home’ are a few words that come to mind when referring to LPGS; as an external student who entered an environment unknown to me I soon felt at home with friendly staƤ and students. As 5ice "aptain I can assure you that LPGS will set an aim to help you be the ‘best you’ that you can be as such I take pride in upholding my position in the Senior Prefect Team.

Amy Tomlinson Vice Captain LPGS is a supportive learning environment which encourages both the academic and personal growth of their students. LPGS is very good with the amount of help teachers are willing to give their students whether it be through email or in person. There is a community environment and general acceptance of others from the students as well as opportunities to engage with diƤerent people outside of your subIect choices. Nicole Duvwiama Vice Captain I honestly adore Langley it is the best school and although it sounds very clichéd for me there is a true meaning. Prior to being a LPGS student I struggled to see myself as a person who could even be considered for a leadership role moreover inspire people. To my surprise it was the school that inspired me the staƤ and in particular the students. The environment is one where you feel at ease comfortable but also one which will constantly inspire you to be the best possible version of yourself. Adam Noble Charity Team Leader LPGS has played a key part in my education and wellbeing for the past academic year. There are many reasons that have led me to enIoy my time at the school from the staƤ that have assisted me so well in my learning to the people I have become friends with. The LPGS community is incredibly welcoming. The school made it easy for me to meet new people and integrate with ease beneƥting not only my education but also my overall well-being. .

Molly Barron School Environment Team Leader I have been at this school since Year 7 and the amount of opportunity available is endless. There is the possibility for you to pursue an interest in something completely unrelated to your subIects Iust for fun through the many extra-curricular activities on oƤer and Sixth Form Enrichment. There is also the opportunity to take on a greater role of responsibility within the school by applying to become a prefect. The teachers here are some of the loveliest people imaginable and they are always prepared to take the time to help you if you are struggling with anything. Sophie Byrne Wellbeing Team Leader I’ve been at LPGS since Year 7 and it’s such a supportive friendly place Ŕ I’m really glad I stayed for Sixth Form. Even though it’s a big step up from secondary school it’s deƥnitely better. You can talk to anyone and after starting Year 12 at LPGS there are so many opportunities including enrichment Duke of Edinburgh clubs and becoming a prefect. All the departments oƤer revision sessions and the teachers are always willing to help so if you’re ever struggling you can get extra support really easily. The food is really nice too!
