Seaford Afternoon Flower Club

Throughout these challenging months we have endeavoured to hold the interest of our members by setting a competition each month. In view of the difficulties involved for some of our members in purchasing flowers, our chairman has been careful to select titles which can be interpreted using minimal mechanics and plant material that could be obtained from our gardens or even hedgerows for those who Rychlinski Flyer:Layout 8 3/11/14 10:59 Page 1 try to have a daily walk. With this in mind, our February competition was entitled ‘Twigs and Sprigs’ and offered a suitable challenge to our members. Some of the results are shown in the photographs. Spring is well on the way now, lifting our spirits and we sincerely hope that the future prospect of being able to meet again as a club is becoming a reality and not just a remote dream.
