Express Coach Services from Adelaide Coach services to Falls Creek and Mt. Hotham depart from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, 85 Franklin Street, Adelaide on Thursday and Saturday evenings. The Ski Connection use the best available luxury coaches equipped with reclining seats, air-conditioning, video and toilet. The Coach Captains used on ski tours are individually selected. Self catering There is a large range of self catering accommodation available with varying facilities, most with own private bedroom and ensuite bathroom and the use of a communal kitchen, lounge and dining area.

Hotels Ski Connection can book a range of hotels from budget to luxury, with varying facilities such as swimming pool, sauna, spas and in-house ski hire. Public bars and restaurants are located on the premises for guests. The Ski Connection can advise on the facilities at each individual property and brochures are available on request.

There are over 75 combinations of lift tickets to choose from, ranging from beginner lift and lesson for first timers to lift and lesson for all abilities. There are savings on family tickets throughout the whole season, and discounts on lift and lesson tickets during low and shoulder season. Our expert staff can give you the best advice on the ticket choices available.

1 return coach from Adelaide, 2 2 or 5 nights accommodation, 3 resort entry and ski hire.

Ski & Snowboard Equipment Boots and skis are personally fitted for your comfort and safety. All ski hire prices throughout this brochure are based on Carving Skis. A deposit is required on all equipment.

Clothing For travel and indoors, warm casual clothing is all that is needed. For skiing we suggest a parka, waterproof pants, jumper, a ski cap that covers the ears, padded gloves, thick socks and sunglasses or goggles. Please remember to bring sunblock as the sun’s reflection off the snow can quite often cause sunburn. When not skiing, apré boots are suggested for oversnow walking. A travelling rug and pillow is recommended for coach travel.

Oversnow Transfers Oversnow transfers are required for Mt. Buller and Falls Creek from the carparking areas to the accommodation. Prices vary from resort to resort, approximately $35 return per adult and $25 return per child.

Resort Entry Fees The Resorts are all based on National Park land and a resort entry fee is required whether travelling by coach or driving a car into the resort. Ask our consultants for details.

Bookings and Payment Once a booking is confirmed the booking conditions and cancellation charges determined by the Lodge will apply. This can vary greatly from Lodge to Lodge and details are summarised below. All prices include 10% GST.

Deposits are due within 7 days to confirm a booking - please note 50% of total package cost is required, but deposit due may vary dependant on the Lodge’s policy. Bookings which have not been confirmed by monies received will be cancelled without notice. For bookings less than 6 weeks to departure full payment is due within 7 days.

Travel Insurance is inexpensive and highly recommended. Your travel agent or the Ski Connection staff can advise and provide you with adequate cover.

Lift and lift/lesson tickets are non refundable, see individual Resort brochures for more details.

Balance of payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in loss of booking and deposit.

Any alterations to bookings requested less than 6 weeks prior to the date of departure are subject to the same conditions as for a cancellation. Except where advised otherwise in this brochure, the following cancellation charges will apply. Note: Insurance can provide protection against substantial cancellation charges resulting from sickness or injury and is recommended.

Check In Times & Departures

Change of Itinerary

Departure times should be confirmed when booking is made. Passengers are required to be at point of embarkation 30 minutes before advertised departure times. Departure times from the Ski Resorts should be confirmed and if the weather conditions are bad this could force an earlier departure than planned - no responsibility can be accepted for passengers who arrive after a service has departed. Evening meal on the return journey is not included. On some services to or from Mt. Hotham and Mt. Buller, it may be necessary to change vehicles - this will be advised on departure date.

The Ski Connection reserves the right, if necessary, to revise timetables or prices without notice.

Accommodation Room Availability Every effort will be made to make rooms available as soon as possible after arrival, however, it is not possible to guarantee room availability before 2.00pm. If rooms are not available immediately on arrival then changing facilities will be provided. Rooms must be vacated by 8.00am on day of departure, however, changing facilities will be provided prior to coach departure. BOND : A refundable bond ($250 - $400) is payable upon arrival at all self contained apartments. STAR RATINGS: Properties bearing the stars symbols eg.  (the “STARS”) are independantly assessed by AAA Tourism, the national tourism body of the Australian motoring organisations. Snow Conditions The Ski Connection does not accept responsibility for snow conditions or bad weather which could cause the loss of skiing days. Cancellation or alteration of travel dates due to snow conditions does not exempt the booking from cancellation/alterations conditions. In the unlikely event that a coach is snowbound and is unable to leave the Resort as scheduled, any additional expenses incurred by the passengers for accommodation and/or meals are the responsibility of the individual. The Ski Connection will accept no responsibility for such costs. Similarly in the event that a Resort is not accessible by the normal route indicated in this brochure then The Ski Connection reserves the right to make alternative arrangements. Whilst every effort will be made to provide the package as brochured, no refund will be made in the event that it is necessary to make a change, resulting from such circumstances over which The Ski Connection has no control.The Ski Connection will accept no responsibility for any additional costs incurred as a result.

Conditions - Responsibility The Ski Connection coach departs at the scheduled times printed in this brochure. The Ski Connection hold no responsibility for passengers who fail to load, and alternative arrangements can sometimes be made for the journey missed but is at the passengers expense. The sale of services described herein is made by The Ski Connection as an agent only for the persons providing such other services upon condition that The Ski Connection shall not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, irregularity, loss or damage caused by or arising out of the provision of or failure to provide any such other service. The Ski Connection believe that the content of this brochure is correct at the time of printing. The Ski Connection shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy or misdescription to provide any service set out in this brochure.

Snow guarantee Snow guarantee is subject to the individual Lodges complying with the Resort recommendations. Details will be provided on request as conditions can vary from Resort to Resort and from Lodge to Lodge. All snow guarantee refunds will incur a 15% service charge.
