Introduction A AEON’s new line of Rugged Tablet Computers (RTC) is MILSTD-810G compliant and meets IP-65 and IP-54 ratings. Built from the ground up to withstand w a t e r, d u s t , v i b r a t i o n a n d shock, as well as the extreme temperatures found in a variety of harsh conditions, the RTC product line will go wherever the job takes you. Encased in tough magnesium alloy, the RTC series offers secure and reliable mobile computing whether vehicle mounted or hand carried into the field. The rugged mobile computing market continues to grow as we find new ways to improve performance and increase productivity by enabling connectivity for the workforce. Up to the minute information availability and infield data acquisition make mobile computing not just a valuable asset, but a critical requirement. Powered by an Intel® ULV Core™ Duo processor or Intel® Atom™ processor, the RTC line delivers high performance with low power consumption. Battery life in the range of 5~7 hrs working time meets the demands of a full days work in the field. Docking station options and vehicle chargers will keep the system up and running for multiple shift operations. Ergonomic and conveniently sized, these light weight tablets will go with you everywhere and have just what it takes to get the job done. With a resistive touch screen and Advanced Optibond Technology (AOT™) or with the optional digitizer, data input is easy and accurate. Built-in handwriting recognition, numeric keypad and programmable function keys are all standard features that make AAEON’s RTC product line your best choice for mobile computing.
