Spring into summer with beautiful June foods and sunshine interiors. We're delighted to be able to feature, this month, some beautiful recipes and photographs of Persian-inspired and other food, by the Iranian food blogger Mahroo Amiri. Her work features on our cover. We also have a feature by the extremely popular Gordon Ramsay, celebrating his Great British Roast event this summer, and as the hot weather surges in, Julia Sherman's salads are bound to be useful. Lettuce with tomatoes simply don't feature anywhere there.
On the architecture and design front, there's a spectacular concrete coastal house buried deep within a copse of maritime pines, and a prize-winning garden, inspired by an abandoned quarry in Gozo, which took the gold medal at the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show last month.
