Creeping Oxalis is a highly aggressive weed that sets down corms (bulbs) as it creeps along the lawn making it difficult to remove by hand. It is often mistaken as clover and can be distinguished by its heart shaped leaves. Spray Creeping Oxalis in lawns with Buffalo Master® Hose On & Lawnweeder® for 2-3 treatments over a period of weeks to eradicate the infestation.
Clover (not TAS) is usually a sign of low nitrogen levels in the soil, which can be adjusted with the application of a quality lawn fertilizer. For best eradication of clover, spray lawns with Searles Buffalo Master® Hose On 1-2 weeks before fertilising with Searles Robust® Lawn Booster.
Lawn grubs are easy to control. Sprinkle Searles Dead Grub Pro granules evenly over the ground where lawn grubs are present and water in lightly.
Kepp watching for evidence of lawn grubs as they return throughout the warmer seasons. It may be necessary to reapply the lawn grub killer every 4-5 weeks as waves of infestation may occur.
For best practice, apply a lawn grub product early to mid spring annually when these pests lay their eggs.
