Since 1919: The Family is our starting point

Creatività italiana, tradizione artigianale e vocazione internazionale sono i tratti distintivi di Potocco, azienda a conduzione familiare, fondata nel 1919 da Domenico Potocco a Manzano (UD).

Da piccola bottega artigiana per la produzione di sedie, Potocco si è evoluta nel corso degli anni trasformandosi in una vera e propria realtà industriale, specializzata nella creazione di arredi per la casa e il contract, adatti sia agli ambienti indoor che outdoor. Una storia di eccellenza che attraversa tutto il ‘900 italiano, in un percorso di crescita che, dalla partecipazione al primo Salone del Mobile in qualità di socio fondatore, ha portato Potocco a collaborare con importanti firme del design internazionale e a conquistarsi una posizione di rilievo come eccellenza del Made in Italy.

Oggi guidata da Antonino Potocco, coadiuvato nel suo ruolo dalle figlie Alice e Marianna, quinta generazione della famiglia, l’azienda è presente in tutto il mondo grazie a una solida e vasta rete di distributori e alla recente apertura delle divisioni Potocco USA e Potocco Asia-Pacific.

Italian creativity, artisan traditions and an international vocation are the distinctive traits of Potocco, a family-run company founded in 1919 by Domenico Potocco in Manzano (Udine).

From a small artisan workshop for the production of chairs, Potocco has evolved over the course of the years, transforming itself into a large industrial reality, specialised in the creation of home and contract furnishing, suited to both indoor and outdoor environments.

A history of excellence that covers the entire 20th century¸ along a trail of growth which, from our participation in the first Salone del Mobile trade fair as a founding partner, has led Potocco to collaborate with important international design firms and achieve for itself an important role in the Made in Italy story of excellence.

Led today by Antonino Potocco, assisted in his role by his daughters Alice and Marianna, the fifth generation of the family, the company is present throughout the world thanks to a solid and vast network of distributors and the recent opening of the Potocco USA and Potocco Asia-Pacific divisions.

Il volto di un’impresa è il volto delle persone che vi lavorano. Da sempre Potocco investe nel proprio capitale umano e relazionale, valorizzandoli come beni imprescindibili del processo di crescita dell’azienda stessa.

La Persona è l’elemento fondamentale che garantisce la qualità e il controllo sull’intera filiera produttiva.

Dalle risorse interne, custodi del sapere artigianale che caratterizza l’azienda, ai collaboratori esterni, la componente umana assicura i traguardi elevati raggiunti da Potocco in un secolo di storia.

Chiave del successo dell’azienda anche l’attenzione dedicata al cliente, coinvolto in maniera attiva nella realizzazione dei progetti con l’obiettivo di offrire ogni volta una customer experience d’eccellenza, valore assoluto della filosofia aziendale.

The face of a company is the face of the people who work here. Potocco has always invested in its own human capital and relations, promoting them as necessary assets for the growth process of the company itself.

The individual is the fundamental element that guarantees the quality and control of our entire production chain.

From our internal resources, being the guardians of the artisan know-how that characterises the company, to our external collaborators, the human component ensures the attainment of the great achievements produced by the company over a century of history.

La cultura artigianale come patrimonio aziendale ha permesso a Potocco di coniugare, negli anni, i vantaggi di una moderna produzione in serie alla cura del dettaglio tipica delle lavorazioni manuali.

Dopo un secolo di storia l’azienda realizza ancora internamente tutte le fasi produttive comprese le più delicate, dall’intreccio a mano, alla lavorazione del legno e dei diversi materiali. Un connubio perfetto dove tradizione e innovazione si incontrano per garantire i più alti standard qualitativi e soddisfare ogni esigenza del cliente all’insegna della massima personalizzazione.

Alla base, un meticoloso lavoro di ricerca che parte proprio dalla prototipazione, step fondamentale nella realizzazione del prodotto che permette di testarlo, cambiarlo e perfezionarlo per ottenere ogni volta il migliore risultato. Ogni prodotto è così curato nel minimo dettaglio, monitorato in ogni fase e infine confezionato come un vestito su misura. Ricerca, selezione dei migliori materiali ma soprattutto passione per questo lavoro, rendono unica ogni creazione Potocco in un mix perfetto di sartorialità, sperimentazione e qualità.

Our company heritage of artisan tradition has permitted Potocco to combine over the years the advantages of modern production in a series to careful details typical of handmade processes.

After a century of history the company still manages all production stages internally, including the most delicate, from hand-weaving to the processing of wood and various other materials.

A perfect marriage where tradition and innovation meet to guarantee the highest quality standards and satisfy every customer need through the greatest customisation.

At base, meticulous research that starts right from the prototypes, a fundamental step in the achievement of products, permitting us to test, change and perfect them to obtain the best result every time.

Every product is studied in its smallest details, monitored at each stage and finally made out like a tailor-made suit.

Research, selection of the best materials but above all passion for this work, render each Potocco creation unique in a perfect mix of tailoring, experimentation and quality.

L’expertise maturata in un secolo d’attività, lavorazioni tecnologiche all’avanguardia e la ricerca della qualità definiscono la cifra progettuale che contraddistingue la produzione di Potocco.

L’estrema cura dei dettagli, tipica della tradizione artigianale, si manifesta nella lavorazione dei diversi materiali e negli intrecci realizzati a mano in canna e cordino nautico, grezzo e sintetico, che contribuiscono a creare proposte uniche dal gusto sempre nuovo e fresco.

La produzione aziendale, frutto della collaborazione con firme del design internazionale, comprende tipologie di prodotti capaci di vivere sia all’interno che all’esterno dell’ambiente domestico, grazie all’ampia gamma di finiture disponibili, declinandosi in collezioni che spaziano dall’ambiente living al dining. Sedie, poltrone, divani e chaise longue, sgabelli, tavoli, coffee table, madie e consolle sono interamente prodotti nello stabilimento di Manzano, garanzia della loro qualità Made in Italy.

La profonda esperienza aziendale assicura così la massima capacità di offrire una tipologia d’arredo flessibile e componibile secondo molteplici soluzioni che soddisfano le più diverse esigenze.

The expertise we have matured in one hundred years of activity, cutting-edge technological processes and the search for quality define the design of Potocco production.

Extremely careful attention to detail, typical of artisan tradition, is manifested in the processing of various materials and in the weave produced by hand in cane and nautical synthetic and raw nautical ropes and ribbons, both raw and synthetic, which contributes to the creation of unique proposals with a taste that is always new and fresh.

Company production, the fruit of collaboration with international design firms, includes types of products able to thrive both inside and outside the domestic environment, thanks to the wide range of finishes available, declined into collections that range from living to dining environments.

Chairs, armchairs, sofas and chaise longues, stools, tables, coffee tables, cabinets and consoles are entirely produced in our facility in Manzano, a guarantee of their Made in Italy quality.

The long experience of the company ensures the maximum ability to offer a type of flexible and modular furnishing that will offer multiple solutions to satisfy the most varied needs.

Il legame indissolubile e profondo dell’azienda con il mondo del progetto trova infatti ulteriore espressione in questo settore, alla cui affermazione contribuisce la grande capacità aziendale di creare soluzioni specifiche e altamente personalizzate nei diversi campi della progettazione.

Forte di un know-how e di una competenza consolidata in quasi cento anni d’attività volta al costante rispetto della ricerca tecnologica e del design, i progetti contract di Potocco spaziano a 360°: dall’hospitality al corporate, dal retail al navale.

The profound and indissoluble link of the company with the world of project furnishing finds a further expression in this sector, the success of which is contributed to by our company’s ability to create specific and highly customised solutions in different areas of design planning.

Fortified by its know-how and experience acquired in almost one hundred years of activity characterised by the constant respect of technological research and design, Potocco’s contract projects cover the full range of activities, from hospitality to corporate spaces, from retail to naval.
