WRITE. RESEARCH. REPRESENT.

READY FOR PRACTICE. The comprehensive Lawyering Skills Program at Seattle University School of Law teaches you to be a great lawyer.

In your first year, you will write briefs on an actual case in the Legal Writing Collaborative and take an innovative skills lab in which you’ll practice what you’ve learned in class. Through our top-20 ranked clinical program, you will represent real clients in areas such as immigration law, international human rights law, and administrative law. Our expansive Externship Program will expose you to a variety of domestic and international job placements that provide a bridge from law school to practice. In the Comprehensive Trial Advocacy Program, you will learn pretrial and trial skills through simulated practice under the instruction of highly experienced professors, lawyers, and judges.
