CHIC AGO REGIONAL SYMPOSIUM
We are thrilled to announce the 2014 Chicago Regional Symposium, September 12-13, 2014 at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois. Your director has joined forces with four other Illinois and Indiana study clubs to build a two-day program offering workshops, lectures, meals and entertainment. Together the Dental Study Club of Northwest Indiana, Elite Dental Group, Greater Lafayette Study Club, Illinois River Valley Study Club and Northwest Suburban Chicago Study Club have united to orchestrate a one-of-a-kind meeting. Join us in this rare and unique opportunity for club members to meet each other, share ideas and create solutions to the clinical and practice management challenges we regularly face in our practices.
PROGRAM: Tuition includes two days of programming, two breakfasts, two lunches and Friday night dinner and entertainment. HOTEL: The Hyatt Lodge, 2815 Jorie Boulevard, Oak Brook, IL 60523 is ideally located on the beautiful McDonald’s Campus. Reservations can be made by calling 630.568.1234 or 1.888.421.1442. The Regional Symposium room rate is $155 per night. Be sure to mention you are with Seattle Study Club® when you make and guarantee your reservation. You will want to arrive on Thursday, September 11, and depart on Saturday, September 13 or Sunday, September 14. (There are no planned activities for Saturday night.) Please understand that in exchange for the discounted rate, a non-refundable deposit equal to two nights’ stay is required to hold your room reservation. ATTIRE: Dress is business casual. Aesthetic Rehabilitations from 10 Units Up This presentation will cover key points formulated into a systematic step-by-step approach to resolve significant aesthetic problems restoring the aesthetic zone up to full-mouth rehabilitations. Systematic occlusal management of these rehabilitations will be a strong focus to minimize porcelain fractures and complications. Upon completion of this presentation, attendees should be able to: • Recognize interdisciplinary aesthetic treatment: Control key aesthetic factors with periodontal, orthodontic and implant therapy. • Complete rehabilitation treatment: Sequence treatment, select ceramic materials, utilize techniques for optimum occlusal control. • Identify fine technique details: Optimize clinical techniques with all-ceramic crowns and porcelain veneers treatment. Optimize cement selection and adhesive bonding techniques. Dr. Chiche is the Thomas Hinman Professor and Director, Center for Esthetic & Implant Dentistry at Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine, Augusta, GA. He is a past president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and is also, respectively with Alain Pinault and Hitoshi Aoshima, the author of two textbooks: Esthetics of Anterior Fixed Restorations, and Smile Design—A Guide for Clinician, Ceramist and Patient both published by Quintessence Publishing Co. He is the recipient of the 2003 LSU Alumni Award, the 2003 Educational Community Achievement Award from the Seattle Study Club® and the 2007 Distinguished Lecturer Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
