01 rio museum October 2017 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
As a set of three interconnected units on copacabana’s waterfront, the rio museum provides the experience of art appreciation on a structure suspended above water. The museum is composed of three elements: cell, platform & structure, which work together to generate a very lightweight, seaside composition
capsul
Flow and connectivity are focal points of the project, as the structure generates a circular flow through several open-air and enclosed spaces that connect the units. Tailored to be a “end of the beachline jewel”, the project’s ultimate goal is to intermesh leisure and art.

greenhouse lab 02 January 2018 Dublin, Ireland The greenhouse lab aims to reanimate the historical remnants of the Albert Agricultural College. Its design consists on insertions of multiple greenhouse, pergolas, and garden beds on the existing buildings as a way of reconnecting previously isolated spaces and making them meaningful. These insertions generate spaces that blur the lines between gardening, science research, and leisure. The new community hub redefines the idea of “comunal gardening, and does so in a fully environmentally friendly way. The greenhouse glass is comprised of the Solar Leaf system, using algae panels as a way of generating energy & shade.

02 birdhouse December 2016 North Carolina, USA
A vertical, 60 m house designed for Anni & Josef Albers, with an objective to blurr the lines between indoor & outdoor through the use of framing. Its programmatic arrangement is based on the relationship between the different parts of the forest and the aspects of each room.
