Ushers and Hospitality Annual Day 2018
he Senior and Junior Ushers come together each year in unity to share their love of the Ushers Ministry. They begin practicing in the month of January for their traditional march that is performed during Usher’s Anniversary Day. With much patience and love, they are instructed by Senior Instructor, Diakona LaVonne Husband. Sister LaVonne "gives it her all" when directing both the Senior and Junior Ushers. The Ushers take pride in their Annual Day and love to demonstrate their commitment and dedication towards their Ministry. The Usher’s together enjoy laughing, marching, and praying together as they count it a blessing to celebrate another year. The Ushers are led by President Vera O. Frazier, 1 st Vice, Bobby Laird and 2nd Vice Lucille Coleman along with Junior & Youth Instructor, Sister Michelle Davis and Instructor Emeritus, Amos Price. This year’s church service was coordinated by Program Chair Laura Bullock, along with committee members Mary Bourne, Diakona Betty Brown, Diakona Rodney Bough, Brenda Lee and President Vera O. Frazier. To God Be the Glory for the good things he has done!!

he Welcome and Hospitality Ministry is celebrating forty years of service. This ministry was organized in 1978, due to Bishop’s vision to establish a ministry in the church that would focus on greeting worshiper’s, welcoming and registering visitors, along with serving as an Outreach Ministry. For the last forty years this ministry has continued to thrive and attract new members. The dedication and service through these many years has been exemplary and invaluable to the church parish as a whole. Since 1990, this ministry has been led by Arthur Buckley, Diakona Valeria Burwell, Karl Hallie, Becky Hooks and Emelbra Redd.
