Mixing modern with vintage is the latest trend in Sedona weddings. Choosing elements like free flowing dresses, braided headbands for the bridesmaids, multicolored vintage toasting glasses, a handmade altar cloth, and flowers in an organic and soft color palette makes your indie wedding a huge success. A key to finding great elements at an affordable price is to visit your favorite antique store.

Sedona is the best place to plan an off-road wedding with an elegant resort reception. Renting Jeeps to transport you and your guests to a remote red rock ceremony site creates a fun and one-of-a-kind experience that everyone will remember. Consider a detachable wedding dress for the bride, short dresses for the ladies and shorts for the men. For the reception, reattach the bottom of your wedding dress for a formal look and have the guys change into full tuxedos. Add fun details to make the wedding totally you, like a personalized hanger for your dress, a surprise guitar solo for your bride at the ceremony, and a custom cake stand made of traveling suitcases.

Nature created all the beauty you need with Sedona’s majestic red rocks. Now all you need is a few easy details and you have a simply beautiful wedding. Keep it simple with details like single stem bridesmaids’ flowers, a single flower bridal bouquet, casual suits for the groomsmen and a mix of dress styles for the maids. Bring along umbrellas for added fun. For the ceremony, simply add two pillars with two flower arrangements at the end of the aisle, a guitarist and a few ribbons on the chair ends and, voila, a magical Sedona “I do.”

SETTING A BUDGET
The average cost for a 150-person wedding is about $25,000. The best way to set your own budget is to determine how much you need to spend in order to plan your perfect day. Once you have the numbers on paper, you can revise your wedding plan accordingly to reach a comfortable budget amount. Talk to each family separately and see how much they are willing to contribute; then you’ll know how much you and your fiancé must contribute, as well.
Reception: 48-50% ________ Ceremony: 2-3% ________ Attire: 8-10% ________ Flowers: 8-10% ________ Entertainment: 8-10% ________ Photography/Videography: 10-12% ________ Stationery: 2-3% ________ Wedding rings: 2-3% ________ Transportation: 2-3% ________ Gifts: 2-3% ________ Miscellaneous: 8% ________
TOTAL
Allot about 5% of your budget to a just-in-case fund.
________
how to choose your
bridal party
1.
Decide how many bridesmaids you want: a single attendant, your closest group of friends, or every distant cousin in your family tree. Remember, more bridesmaids requires more of your budget, and there are other ways to include special people in your wedding.
2.
A Sedona wedding likely involves travel by your bridal party, and not everyone will be willing or able to make the trip.
Don’t feel obligated to include anyone in your special day, including family members and friends who had you in their wedding. The ideal bridesmaid is important at this time in your life and in your relationship with your fiancé.

list
Your guest list will greatly impact your overall wedding budget. Remember, multiply each guest by your reception dinner cost for a rough idea of how much your reception will cost.

STRESS-BUSTER
SPRING/SUMMER 2012
1.
Decide if you’ll invite kids to your wedding and if so, will you do (and pay) anything to entertain them?
2.
Be sure to request a rough guest “wish” list from your parents early on. Be prepared for a few disagreements, but stick with the vision of your special day and who you’d like to share it with. Try to allot an even number of guests for each family.
3.
The number of guests you’ll invite greatly impacts your overall budget so set a limit and stick to it. It’s sometimes easier not to invite a coworker at all, for example, rather than invite the whole office to be fair. Of course, there will always be exceptions!
4.
As you plan your list, don’t forget to factor in guests of guests. Those “plus ones” add up quickly.
Haute or just plain hot?
Art Deco Diamond Bow Brooch by Nigel Milne
Many Sedona brides will spend all or at least a good majority of their wedding day outside. Even if you’re only taking pictures outdoors, it’s good to consider the weather when choosing your wedding dress. Spring and fall temperatures are moderate and lend themselves to any style of wedding dress. However, if you’ll be outside for long periods of time or in direct sunlight, you may want to avoid heavy fabrics like duchesse satin and opt instead for something cooler like organza. Winter brides should plan to add a fur stole or warm wrap to complete their look. A dazzling diamond brooch closure adds sparkle.
Sedona wedding wear
Take these tips into account when shopping for the perfect wedding ensemble to wear for your Sedona wedding.
Aisle style
Minime Slip-On by Stuart Weitzman
When choosing your hemline, consider your aisle. If you’re getting married at a resort venue outdoors, you’ll likely have an aisle runner or at least manicured grass to walk over so a floor length A-line, mermaid or ball gown should be just fine. If you’re celebrating your vows off the beaten path, literally, opt for a shorter gown or a flowing train that’s easily looped over your arm to save it from dragging through Sedona’s red rocks.
Best foot forward
Pointy heels will sink into grass and natural settings, so choose shoes with a wider heel. If you’ll be hiking to your ceremony location, consider a beautiful pair of flats, instead.
Elegant wedding dresses by Aria
Un-veiling
Again, your veil style will depend on your personal preferences as well as where you’ll be celebrating your big day! Even a gentle breeze can cause an elbow- or fingertip-length veil to blow into your face. A blusher or birdcage veil might be a better outdoor option. A cathedral (floor) length veil made of sheer fabric or lace instead of tulle will have enough weight to withstand the wind, as well. Cinderella by Aruna Seth

GETTING THE SEDONA LOOK
Patricia Vega, renowned Sedona and international hair and makeup artist, believes in nothing less than a picture perfect look. GETTING THE LOOK
Patricia Vega takes great pride in listening. She believes that listening to her brides is the key to making sure every bridal style is customized beyond each bride’s expectations. Her style is chic, classic and romantic and she is open to mixed and different looks to create any dream look.
Patricia Vega creates for her brides ‘a single flow’: an honest painter and canvas connection that’s one bride, one artist, a single flow. BEST HAIRSTYLES
A PHOTO FINISH
Every bride benefits from having a professional hair and makeup team on her wedding day. A hairstylist who specializes in updos (even if your hair is down) can create a looks that holds its style while still being comfortable and having a beautiful flow. An experienced makeup artist can create a flawless, cohesive look both in person and under lights and cameras. Body blemishes can also be addressed with water resistant and transfer resistant products – a must for a white wedding! Your hair and makeup team will also take care of planning the schedule to have everyone ready on time.
TIME TO RELAX
Vega’s spa, Le Petit Spa de Sedona, offers many bridal packages that are great for the day of the wedding or a few days before. Get rid of the stress of planning your wedding and simply relax with your bridesmaids as you receive massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and professional hair and makeup.

The Sedona air is dry, so moisturizing with a hydrating facial at Le Petit Spa de Sedona a few days before the wedding is a good idea. Patricia Vega uses an airbrush foundation that’s sweat resistant and won’t come off for up to 10 hours, even in the Sedona sun.

Vega meets with each bride to go over the styles they like and, sometimes more importantly, those they don’t. She takes into account the bride’s dress and body type to create a few different hairstyle options. For the warmer spring and summer weather, she recommends choosing a style that’s at least half pulled up. A soft, romantic updo that’s loose and a little beachy is a great option, too. Tall brides can pull off a looser, lower hairstyle while shorter brides should consider a style with a bit of height.

RED ROCK WEDDING
Brides often choose Sedona because of its breathtaking red rock views and Red Agave Resort is the only resort venue in Sedona with unobstructed views of these incredible vistas. The stage where couples exchange vows borders the national forest and offers unmatched views of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. One of the resort’s best photo opportunities is a close-up shot of the couple with these rock formations in the background.
Red Agave Resort reminds brides of how Sedona “used to be” and is the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding with casual flair. Think early 1900’s elegance with a modern twist. It’s your canvas to work with; want your dogs in the wedding party? No problem! Of course, since you are choosing your own vendors, you can go as formal as you’d like, too.
ALL ABOUT TIMING
Mid-morning, late afternoon and early evening are the best times of day to capture the beauty of the rocks without subjecting guests to the hottest sun of the day. The best time for photographs around the resort is just before sunset, when the lighting on the rocks is at its best.

12
BENEFITS OF A SMALL VENUE
SPRING/SUMMER 2012
• •
Sedona is an ideal outdoor wedding spot because the weather in the summer months is cooler than Phoenix and winter months are warmer than Flagstaff. Because they are an outdoor-only venue, Red Agave recommends that brides rent a tent in case of wind or rain. Don’t forget to have plenty of refreshments available for your guests.
Renting a tent as backup in case of wind or rain is a good idea. During summer months, the resort recommends using a small tent to protect the food and cake from the sun. The resort loves it’s neighbors and it’s guests so it recommends placing your DJ’s speakers inside an enclosed tent.

Redstone Catering at Oakcreek Country Club offers brides complete wedding packages and golf course views with a red rock backdrop.
EASY PLANNING
Redstone Catering doesn’t believe in charging a separate fee for every wedding day detail. Instead, their wedding packages include everything a couple needs for a memorable ceremony and reception, priced more affordably than you may think. While they do offer a range of standard packages, the details are not set in stone. The Club is happy to step outside the tee box to help you create your dream wedding. The golf course and clubhouse spaces are very flexible, accommodating up to 150 guests while still being intimate enough for smaller groups.
PHOTO OPPS
Most ceremonies are held near tee box number one where photographers can capture golf course, red rock and water views all at the same time. The fourth fairway is another popular spot that features a long expanse of luxurious green grass and a red rock view. In addition, the Italian cypress tree grove on the first fairway and the babbling brook by the fifteenth green are great spots for unique pictures.
ONE-OF-A-KIND
Besides incredible outdoor scenery, the Club’s menu items are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients available. The catering and golf professionals at Oakcreek Country Club are detail-oriented, easy to work with and take tremendous pride in each wedding they host. Choose Oakcreek Country Club for an un-FORE!-gettable wedding. Picturesque lakes, velvety green fairways and towering trees make a stunning setting for a Sedona wedding, and it’s all yours at Oakcreek Country Club.

A little of everything at L’Auberge L’Auberge de Sedona is the ideal destination for brides who want everything Sedona has to offer in a luxury setting. WELCOME RECEPTIONS
Once guests have arrived in Sedona, brides can treat them to a welcome reception right at the resort, instead of traveling to a rehearsal dinner at another location. The five-bedroom Creekhouse has a large great room that opens onto a full deck facing Oak Creek. It’s the perfect space for an informal reception featuring fresh, chef-made fajitas, butler-passed quesadillas and tostadas, gourmet chips and dips, prickly pear margaritas and microbrews at the bar.
BRIDAL BREAKFAST
Breakfast and lunch are important meals on your wedding day! The wedding party can enjoy breakfast by the creek and relax for a bit while the hair and makeup area is prepared. Chef has a great breakfast selection for the ladies to fuel up with before the long wedding day.
GETTING GLAM
Many brides use their cottage as their hair and makeup salon. The cottages’ expanded decks offer beautiful natural light for makeup application. The resort’s new Spa and Vista cottages have enormous bathrooms with plenty of room for the bridal party to primp. If you’d rather keep your cottage ready for the wedding night, L’Auberge also has several small meeting spaces that can be set up with mirrors and refreshments.

BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
L’Auberge de Sedona truly provides the best event space in a spectacular red rock or creekside setting. Begin with an outdoor cocktail reception. Get married near the creek on the Cottageside Lawn. Treat guests to red rock views from the Garden Lawn. Couples can mix and match any of the resort’s picturesque backdrops for their perfect wedding day.
PICTURE POINTERS
L’Auberge brides like to use the beach-like setting near the creek for their “first look” photographs. Couples can also steal a few quiet moments together in the greenery-covered gazebo. No matter what style you want, L’Auberge has a beautiful backdrop: red rock views, creek views, ivy-covered archways, Koi ponds with benches and red rock boulders in the creek.

OUTDOOR CEREMONY
Brides can choose the red rock views of Snoopy Rock from the SpiritSong Terrace or one of two locations on Oak Creek. Each space has picturesque views and is easily transformed into the couple’s vision of their wedding day. The décor and details can be completely customized to your tastes.
COCKTAILS AND DINNER
Most brides at L’Auberge choose an outdoor cocktail hour and reception so guests can experience the great weather in Sedona. Softly lit lanterns can be strung between the trees while natural wood tables and vibrant floral arrangements can be added to the natural beauty of the resort’s outdoor spaces.
INDOOR OPTIONS
While other outdoor venues require you to rent a tent in case of inclement weather, L’Auberge’s main lodge may be used as backup. The grand staircase serves as the platform for the bride and groom and attendants can line the stairs. It’s an easy and quick change and allows maximum flexibility. The Monet Ballroom can be used for indoor receptions and is ideal for couples who want to have a full band or DJ throughout the evening. Brides can also choose to have light background music during an outdoor dinner and then move into the ballroom for dancing.

SWEET ROMANCE
As a Sedona bride, you’ll spend so much of your planning around working with the natural beauty of Sedona. Why settle for another white tiered wedding cake? Instead, work with a true cake artist like Donna Joy, owner of Sedona Sweet Arts. She creates award-winning cakes that capture the charm of the Southwest in an elegant and contemporary way.
SWEET SPECIALTIES
As a pastry chef, Donna Joy is able to create many custom cake flavors. She has developed a line of gluten- and dairyfree cakes. She is also well-known for her sugar work. Many of her cakes are adorned with hand-sculpted sugar flowers that match perfectly with the wedding flowers, colors and theme. She also offers cakes carved into interesting shapes, fun groom’s cakes, molded chocolate truffles and dessert bars.

SWEET ON SEDONA BRIDES
Sedona Sweet Arts makes each cake all about its bride. Everything is handmade and handcrafted, giving each cake a special attention to detail. Donna Joy even hand-sculpts her sugar art (most cake purveyors buy them and color them). “At the end of the day,” Donna Joy says, “we can rest well, knowing we put our best foot forward and achieved the bride’s dream cake in flavor and design.”
Although Donna Joy’s whipped cream wedding cakes are delicious, they don’t withstand the heat of an outdoor August wedding so they’re better served in the spring and fall.

Sedona Sounds
Bobby Russell’s extensive experience and ability to intuitively entertain a crowd make him the ideal DJ for Sedona weddings.
FLEXIBILITY
Rather than sticking to a signature style, Bobby Russell’s extensive experience allows him to easily adapt to each couple’s style. He is able to change things up as needed to please diverse crowds and keep everyone entertained.
PLAYLIST PLANNING
Bobby’s website is a great resource for couples who don’t know quite where to start planning their music selections. He encourages his brides to build a custom playlist of preferred songs, and perhaps more importantly, to create a “do not play” playlist! There are also “most requested” lists that brides can look through for inspiration.
CROWD-PLEASER
Bobby sees each wedding as the opportunity to help guests have a great time together by playing the “right” song at the “right” time. At the beginning of the reception, Bobby greets as many guests as possible, getting to know them better and developing a personal connection. Guests can even request a song. He constantly evaluates the mood and energy of the group in order to play just the right song.
BOBBY SAYS...
Bobby recommends brides book their entertainment 12 months in advance because he’s only available for one event per day. He says hiring an experienced, professional wedding entertainer means brides can relax, knowing their guests are in good hands.

Serving Up Sedona Bonnie Grant goes against the catering norm and serves up haute Sedona cuisine.
SEDONA INSPIRATIONS
Bonnie’s Sedona-inspired menus are eclectic, mixing offerings like South American tapas stations and Japanese fired Ahi tuna with wasabi aioli. The standard steak and chicken plates need not apply. Unless, of course, that’s what a bride wants in which case Rosalie’s serves them up with award-worthy flair.
NEW SERVICE STYLE
In addition to the traditional buffet or plated meal, Rosalie’s gives brides the option of serving dinner family style. Salads and main courses are served to the table, then guests pass gourmet side dishes–charred vegetables with balsamic reduction, chilled orange cous cous with dried fruits, chipotle mashed potatoes–around the table, just as they would at a family dinner. This service style shifts the entire feel of the reception as guests interact on a personal level.

PLANNING PROS
Bonnie is committed to creating a menu based on not only the couple’s tastes but also what best suits their event in terms of style, guest count, season and even the color palette. After an initial visit and tasting, the rest of the menu planning can take place over the phone. Bonnie expertly guides couples through the ins and outs of planning their menu, working with guidelines rather than limitations. Rosalie’s also offers gourmet delivery service for rehearsal dinners and morning-after brunches. Treat your guests to incredible food in a casual setting, and give them a taste of what’s to come!
DINE IN OR DISH IT UP?
Brides can dine on Rosalie’s catering in-house at Agave of Sedona, the only indoor venue in Sedona with panoramic red rock views. See page 17 for all the details of hosting your dream reception at Agave of Sedona.

Skip dinner all together and throw an extraordinary cocktail party instead. Rosalie’s uses different serving styles, including passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations, to keep things interesting. One of Rosalie’s signature offerings is an over-the-top cheese station stocked with international and artisan cheeses. Another favorite, Rosalie’s tapas stations offer small bites of incredibly complex and artfully prepared dishes. Think coconut shrimp with curry apricot sauce or ensalada bruschetta, a three-bite salad with a miniature fork.

Modern flair, southwest fusion and artful presentation all describe Rosalie’s of Sedona’s tasteful – and tasty – approach to catering. Bonnie Grant’s passion for fusing flavors, actually creating dishes instead of recreating standby recipes and understanding the bigger picture of an event allow her to create inspired menus that receive rave reviews, time and time again.

From tent top to tabletop, Verve Events and Tents has the wedding rentals you need to create your dream wedding.
HAVE A SEAT
The color and style of chair you choose, from simple white to elegant gold Chiavari and stylish slipcovers, dramatically changes the overall look and feel of your ceremony and reception. Verve Events and Tents offers brides thousands of chairs in many different styles.
TAKE COVER
Renting a tent is a must for outdoor weddings in Sedona and Verve Events and Tents literally has you covered. A tented outdoor event allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of Sedona without weather worries. (Verve keeps guests comfortable with white or clear tent walls and heaters in winter and with shade and coolers in the summer.)
DREAMS COME TRUE
A tent is also a blank canvas to decorate to your heart’s desire. You’ll have the beauty of Sedona as a backdrop while still being able to surround guests with the décor and ambiance of your choice. Renting a tent from Verve is comparable to the price of a mid-range venue.
ONSITE EXPERT
Since you’re likely planning a destination wedding in Sedona, working with Verve gives you the luxury of an experienced event rental expert. They are familiar with most venues in northern Arizona and know which items work best in each space.
LET THERE BE LIGHT
Lighting can transform a space for very little expense. Colored lights splashed against ballroom walls or a moving gobo against the roof of a tented event adds life to the space. Outdoor brides should also make sure their guests have enough light to dine and dance by.
SETTING THE SCENE
Your venue may already provide basic linens, chairs and dinnerware. Verve can help you dial up your event’s look with styles for every budget. Add a decorative table overlay, a table runner, napkins, chargers, chair covers and sashes to take your space from typical to extraordinary.

Opening the Heart to Love
SEEKING A CONNECTION Teaming with his wife and planner, Laura Marolakos, Rev. Andrew enjoys initiating with each new couple a warm and open relationship that allows for trusting communication. They’re invited to share with him the endearing qualities that unite them, their spiritual connection and the meaning that marriage has for them. CEREMONY STYLE Non-denominational, spirit-centered ceremonies are Rev. Andrew’s focus. His style is to use words that both express and gently center couples in their love. Couples are welcome to incorporate meaningful people into their ceremony through readings, music and blessings and to share their own tender words with each other. WORKING LONG DISTANCE After the initial meeting–in person, by phone, video chat or email–Rev. Andrew provides the couple with a wedding packet containing a collection of ceremonial selections. Often new material is researched and cultural, bilingual (Spanish) and nature elements are added. With their guidance, he weaves these many elements together to create a very personalized ceremony.
“Rev. Andrew, your presence is filled with wisdom, depth, serenity and loving kindness… you really glimpsed our true selves and our relationship through our discussion.” Adrie & Steve
“We keep thinking back to our quiet, sacred and loving ceremony with awe that everything should transpire exactly as we had hoped.” Kelly & Mark
MARRIAGE PREP In addition to supporting couples on the day of their wedding, Rev. Andrew offers marriage prep sessions aimed at helping couples identify how they’re already communicating and connecting spiritually so they can strengthen their relationship.

Rev. Andrew Murphy believes that marriage is a pathway into the very heart of life and love itself.
CREATING AN Intimate SEDONA WEDDING Reverend Suzanne Loo-McCoy shares the secrets of creating a personalized wedding ceremony. If you feel the ceremony is the heart and soul of your wedding day, Reverend Suzanne Loo-McCoy of Intimate Sedona Weddings is your perfect match. As a nondenominational minister, she is committed to carefully hearing the needs of each couple and truly connecting with them to help weave the threads of their love story into the start of a beautiful life together.
VOWS, SEDONA STYLE
Suzanne enjoys sitting down with every couple to hear their story, saying “I believe that each couple is different and has their own specialness about themselves and their relationship.” Sometimes it is not always possible to meet in person as many couples aren’t able to get to Sedona until the day before or sometimes the day of their wedding. Suzanne uses emails, the phone and a written interview questionnaire to close the distance between them. She provides drafts of the wedding ceremony for review and couples are free to request any revisions they want.
PERSONAL TOUCH
Understanding the feel of your special day is Suzanne’s specialty. She begins her interview by asking about the vision you have for your day, how you met, what made you fall in love? Through your answers, she begins to get an understanding of what will make your day memorable. Whether it’s including your special names for each other, involving family and guests throughout the ceremony or mixing in cultural rituals, an Intimate Sedona Wedding is infused with your personal energy. Suzanne’s Hand Blessing Ritual symbolically brings your two hearts together as one. The Sand Ceremony is a popular choice for Sedona brides and represents the blending of two lives. Couples can embrace Southwest traditions with Native American blessings or a Sage Ceremony. Intimate Sedona Weddings is a full service officiant; in addition to the personalized wedding ceremony, Suzanne includes extensive charting and diagrams for the processional and recessional. She also offers packages to help take the stress out of planning your day. A photographer and your bouquet may be added to her officiating services. She can also customize her packages to include a musician and a wedding cake if you so desire.
WITH LOVE
If you choose one of Suzanne’s Intimate Sedona Weddings, you’ll get exactly that. “It’s all about choice, I’m just their vehicle,” she explains. “I’m here to serve and be the creative vessel for their day, I officiate with love!”
PHOTOS COURTESY OF: BRIDES FOR BRIDES PHOTOGRAPHY
Brides can also work with Suzanne to create original jewelry pieces using natural gemstones, each with distinct characteristics and energies, to wear on their wedding day or gift to guests.
Many of Suzanne’s couples allow her to script the vows as part of the personal ceremony she creates for them. But if you feel like writing your own, she advises speaking from the heart about what you love, admire and respect about the other person.

SPRING/SUMMER 2012
BLISS PICKS FOR 2012
Bliss specializes in theme weddings and draws from their large warehouse of rentals and couture linen selections to design events with an edge. Here are their picks for trendsetting floral in 2012. 1. HOLLYWOOD GLAM
Bliss brides are going glam with black, white and lots of bling, reminiscent of Hollywood movies in the 1940s. A mix of of cut crystal, orchids, peonies and gardenias gives the space a sumptuous, starlet feel for fabulous cocktail hours decked out with chairs wrapped in tight-fitting Chivari covers with ruffles reminiscent of French lingerie. Ooh la la!
2. MULTI-CULTURAL MOD
Rich South Asian designs and a mix of cultural styles will be big this year. Picture embroidered silks, jewels, beading and bright jewel tone colors like turquoise, burgundy and orange with gold accents. Brides who love this style choose flowers like ginger, Mokara orchids, protea and spicescented garden roses.
2.
3. ELEGANT GARDEN WEDDINGS
Bliss’ European Garden Chic style is characterized by softer tones and more refined designs. The “grand centerpiece” is making a dramatic comeback. These tall centerpieces are adorned with massive explosions of floral, lots of indirect lighting from candlesticks and candelabras and a contemporary mix of modern glass and vintage iron. Brides are also choosing large, textured bouquets wrapped in wide embellished European ribbons.
1.
4. SEDONA STYLE
PHOTOS COURTESY OF: (CLOCKWISE FROM UPPER LEFT) BLISS EXTRAORDINARY FLORAL
For flowers that reflect the natural beauty of Sedona’s majestic red rocks, Bliss recommends choosing flowers like rust roses, dahlias, red pin cushion protea, brown Mokara orchids and spider gerberas. The event space can be decorated with wrought iron arches and lanterns and Southwestinspired tables adorned with rustic stoneware, iron risers and Mexican glass containers on earth-toned table linens. Bliss’ signature Sedona bouquet is a rich textured mix of tropical floral, succulents, natural grasses and berries.

EXPERT PLANNING
Despite the overwhelming amount of ideas many brides bring to their first meeting, Amy Mills is an expert at helping brides narrow their wedding floral focus to the style, colors and general feel they envision for their wedding day. She recommends choosing a common element that can tie everything together—a color, repeating pattern, a metallic touch, pearls, something that will be seen throughout the event. Bliss Extraordinary Floral can help plan your entire wedding event from start to finish by helping you select fine caterers, professional photographers, DJs, tuxedo rentals, beauty salons and the best venue for the size of your event and the style of your wedding.

Guests can also arrange to take the Sedona-Phoenix shuttle (www.sedona-phoenix-shuttle.com).

Once your guests have finally arrived in Sedona, they’ll be ready to put their feet up. Greet them with a welcome basket in their hotel room complete with local Sedona goodies and souvenirs from the shops at Tlaquepaque (www.tlaq.com).
