HEALING and HEALTH
No matter what has come against you... No matter how long it's been there... No matter what the doctor's told you... God's waiting now to hear your prayer. He doesn't know the word incurable! With Him, there's NO impossibility! And He is ready with your miracle, So now, give Him an opportunity! I found the cure! His name is Jesus! The Great Physician everywhere! You want to know where He has His office? It is right here... Praise God! He's here! And it is time for your appointment... So don't be late... or cancel... please. For Jesus is your Balm in Gilead! He is the cure for ALL disease!
God's definition of terminal is... TERMINATES AT CALVARY! God has sent His Word to heal you and to deliver you from your destruttions.1 It's never too late for God! With men, it's impossible, but with God ALL things are possible!2 And ALL things are possible to him (or her) that believeth!3 There is NO asterisk * by that word ALL with a footnote at the bottom of the page that says, "except for cancer...or whatever name has been given to the disease that has attacked your body!" There are NO exceptions with God. If you believe, you'll receive But the key to receiving is that word BELIEVE. We use it so flippantly today; but in the Bible, it is an absolute... free from mixture, having no restriction, exception, or qualification [Webster's dictionary]. BELIEVE is 100%! NO unbelief! NO wavering! NO "plan B" simmering on the back burner! When a child jumps from a wall into his Daddy's arms, he believes his Daddy will catch him. That's FAITH -believing and jumping! If he doubted at all, (1) he'd be looking for a branch he could grab if Daddy didn't catch him, or (2) he'd look to see what's on the ground in case he fell, or (3) he wouldn't jump at all. All three are unbelief... DOUBT.
2
Do you know what you receive when you DOUBT? NOTHING!
FAITH TO JUMP into God's arms comes from hearing God's Word -- not just with your physical ears, but, more importantly, with your heart's ears! FAITH comes from hearing God's Word! 5 We have to decide to be sold out and committed to what God's Word says about us, about our bodies, about disease, and about healing -- not what somebody else says. When you find out what God's Word says about it, you'll quickly recognize the limitation and contradictions you hear others speak. That's where unbelief comes from! FAITH comes from hearing, and UNbelief comes from hearing, too. If you believe, you'll receive! If you don't, you won't. Draw the line where Jesus drew the lineright down the middle of John 10:10! Jesus said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." If it's stealing, killing, or destroying, it's NOT from God; therefore, the believer has power over it in Jesus' name according to the Word of God. Jesus said, "Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL [that means ALL... no exceptions] the power of the enemy, and NOTHING [that means NOTHING._ no exceptions] shall by any means hurt you."6 CANCER... and ALL diseases ...certainly fit in the stealing, killing, and destroying category! Here are some of the many, many promises of healing in God's Word. He has made each promise, and it is His responsibility to bring them to pass. Your only responsibility is to respond to His ability -- BELIEVE! JUMP! He is faithful that promised, and He is watching over His Word to perform it!7 God cannot fail, and He cannot lie!8 My son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.9 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.10 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will [His Word], He heareth us: and if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.11 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.12 If God be for us, who can be against us?13 For I am the Lord, I change not...14
3
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord...15 Thus saith the LORD, the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it: the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.16 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction, Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.17 O Lord my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou hast healed me.18 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.19 GOD'S PLAN OF REDEMPTION...Healing
is part of God's plan of redemption. Jesus has REDEEMED us from sickness -- freed us from captivity to disease by paying the ransom price for us! Picture a pawn shop... Joe owned a guitar, and he decided to give it to Sam. Sam kept it for a while, but then decided to pawn it in order to have the cash to buy something else. Sam never went back to the pawn shop; but when Joe learned that the guitar was being held at the pawn shop, he decided to go get it back. "How much will it take?" he asked. The pawn shop owner gave him the inflated price, but Joe decided it was worth it. He paid it in full and walked out with his treasured guitar. He redeemed his guitar -FREED IT FROM CAPTIVITY BY PAYMENT OF RANSOM. We all understand the principle on which pawn shops operate, and I want to use that similarity to help you see more clearly what has been done for you in God's great plan of redemption. Follow me in this analogy... Jesus walked into satan's pawn shop, named "The Curse," where mankind had been sold by Adam's high treason.' Jesus asked, "What will it cost to get My people free from the curse and your dominion?" Satan said, "The price is death! The soul that sinneth must die." 21 Jesus decided we were worth it, so He died on the cross and paid the price for us. Picture His nail-pierced hands extended as He went back into the pawn shop and said, "I died for (____your name_____), and I've paid the price in full to REDEEM (____your name_____)from the curse... spirit, soul, and body! I HAVE FREED (____your name_____) FROM CAPTIVITY TO SIN AND SICKNESS BY PAYING THE RANSOM!" That's what happened at Calvary and the Resurrection! Jesus SAVED you and HEALED you! That's God's great PLAN OF REDEMPTION! It's done! It's PAID IN FULL! It's FINISHED! Let's get even more specific... Picture Jesus extending His nail-pierced hands and saying, "I've paid forCANCER! I've paid for CANCER for (____your name_____)! It can no longer have dominion over anyone who will believe and receive what I've done for them! Cancer has been paid for!" Then why is it so rampant? Jesus knows we're redeemed. Satan knows we're redeemed. But if we don't know we're redeemed, and if we don't stand fast in that redemption, then satan is able to get his foot in the door and lay sickness and disease on us. God said, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." 22 That's why we have the Word of God -- to show us how to draw the line, to expose the pawn shop, to show us God's great Plan of Redemption, and to empower us to believe and receive ALL that Jesus has done for us! God loves you! He didn't make you sick! He made a way for these scriptures and this teaching to get into your hands, so that you will clearly see He loves you, He's on your side, and He wants you healed and whole!

What love! Surely He has borne our griefs -- sickness, weakness, and distress -- and carried our sorrows and pain of punishment. Yet, we ignorantly considered Him stricken , smitten, and afflicted by God. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and wellbeing for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.23 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.24 Who His Own self bare our sins in His Own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.25 CHRIST HATH REDEEMED US from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.26 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.27 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, Whose power NO FOE CAN WITHSTAND. He will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!" For then He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Webster' s dictionary defines pestilence as contagious or infectious epidemic disease that is marked by rapid, severe, and malignant course, devastating.] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow—the evil plots and slanders of the wicked— that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. Then a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be—yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High as you witness the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, there shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He shall give His angels especial charge over you, to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways of obedience and service. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and adder, the young lion and the serpent shall you trample under foot. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name—has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness; trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.28 My son, forget not My law; but let thine heart keep My commandments; for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.29 For by Me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.30 Why shouldest thou die before thy time?31
5
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.32
JESUS' MINISTRY... Let's look at scriptures that tell about Jesus and healing, remembering that JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. 33
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. . . .and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them.34 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth His hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.35 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.36 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And He touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.37 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him, and touched the hem of His garment: for she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned Him about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; they faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.38 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yea, Lord. Then touched He their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad His fame in all that country. As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a dumb man possessed with a devil. And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and………. (continued on next page)

the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils. And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.39 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME.. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give your rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.40 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.41 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME.. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
When Jesus heard of it, He departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed Him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.42 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place had knowledge of Him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto Him all that were diseased; and besought Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.43 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME.. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and He healed them: insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.44 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him, and cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of the most high God? I adjure Thee by God, that Thou torment me not. For He said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought Him much that He would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought Him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus‌‌.(continued on the next page)

gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. And they began to pray Him to depart out of their coasts. And when He was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed Him that he might be with Him. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.45 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto Him: and He was nigh unto the sea. And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him, he fell at His feet, and besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray Thee, come and lay Thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed Him, and thronged Him. And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered., but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched His garment. For she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who touched My clothes? And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging Thee, and sayest Thou, Who touched Me? And He looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him all the truth. And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. And He suffered no man to follow Him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when He had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And He charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.46 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore. And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew Him, and ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard He was. And whithersoever He entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought Him that they might touch if it were but the border of His garment: and as many as touched Him were made whole.47 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of Him, and came and fell at His feet: the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought Him that He would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto Him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table‌‌..

eat of the children's crumbs. And He said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.48 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, He came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis. And they bring unto Him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech Him to put His hand upon him. And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers into his ears, and He spit, and touched his tongue; and looking up to heaven, He sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. And He charged them that they should tell no man: but the more He charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it; and were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: He maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.49 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him. And He began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.50 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with Thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art Thou come to destroy us? I know Thee Who Thou art; the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.51 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME.. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them, and healed them.52 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and Pharisees watched Him, whether He would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against Him. But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.53 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.

And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases; and they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him: for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.54 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And He laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when He had said these things, all His adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.55 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered Him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed Himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.56 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.57 JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.58
JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE SAME... YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.59 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.60
10
But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.61 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 62 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 63 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.64 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.65 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.66 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.67 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.68 HEALING POWER OF GOD'S WORD AND OUR WORDS... But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.69 If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.70 He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.71 So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.72 By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.73 life. 74
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge it shall eat the fruit of it for death or
So let us seize, hold fast, and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess, and our acknowledgment of it, for He Who promised is reliable, sure, and faithful to His Word. 75 And they overcame him [the accuser] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.76 Let the weak say, I am strong.77 PUTTING ACTION... WITH THE FAITH... THE WORD OF GOD HAS BROUGHT...
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth; and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God... But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses………
11
shall come upon thee, and overtake thee... Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. 78 There are a number of sicknesses, diseases, and infirmities that are listed in the curses in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. But then, just to be sure we understand there are NO exceptions to the fact that sickness is a curse, God adds, "every sickness" in the last verse of the above passage. Their disobedience brought the curse upon them. God had to permit what they permitted by their disobedience, because He had given them a free will and the power of choice. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.i79 The same is still true today. We have allowed sickness and disease to get a strong hold on our bodies because we were lacking knowledge of where it comes from, and we were lacking knowledge of God's Word regarding sickness and healing. God allows what we allow. Remember -- we have a choice! We have to draw the line where God draws the line! Healing and health are from God! God wants you to have health and a long life! Healing and health are a blessing!
Sickness is NOT from God! It steals, kills, and destroys. Sickness and disease are a curse.
You're in a life or death situation! What difference does it make what's on TV, or in the paper, novel, or medical journal!?!? Turn off and set aside everything else and give your UNDIVIDED ATTENTION to God's Word — undivided attention means read it, think it, talk it, read it, think it, talk it... even while you're taking care of only the absolute necessities to get you through the day. Undivided attention means you are hearing, speaking, thinking, or reading THE WORD OF GOD constantly! You may say, "That's fanatical!" That's right! A fanatic won't change his mind and won't change the subject! That disease is fanatical, too – working on you around the clock seeking to put you down and under. But if you'll be just as fanatical and give your UNDIVIDED ATTENTION to God's Word, He will put you up and over, bring you victory, and make you whole!!! The FACTS in your medical report say you are sick. God's Word says you are redeemed. When the facts go against God's Word, we are supposed to believe and speak the TRUTH -- God's Word.
Believing and speaking God's Word will change the FACTS! 80 God has not asked us to do the impossible! He's asked us to BELIEVE His Word more than anything else. He's responsible to make the impossible...POSSIBLE! Jesus didn't tell them to turn the water into wine. He just asked them to fill the pots with water...then He made the impossible...POSSIBLE! 81 What happens when you're reading a book, and you hold a magnifying glass over a page and read the lines? We say the letters get bigger, but they really don't... they just get bigger in our eyes!
IF you will read and re-read,
12
think about, give your undivided attention to, ponder aloud, talk about, and study these promises from God about your healing,
FAITH will come, and grow, and EXPLODE inside you! God's Word will get bigger IN YOUR EYES than the doctor's diagnosis, bigger IN YOUR EYES than the medical report, bigger IN YOUR EYES than the pain, bigger IN YOUR EYES than the disease! That's FAITH ! God has promised to manifest what you believe and speak! 80 God always manifests His promises for those who believe and who don't have "Plan B" simmering on the back burner -- for that isn't FAITH...it's doubt. Remember, God knows what's really in your heart -- whether it's faith or fear. FAITH
FEAR
Faith is our response to God's Word.
Fear is our response to reports contrary or opposite to God's Word. Fear activates the devil.
Faith activates God!
As you have read through these pages of healing promises, you have been aware of hope and faith rising up in your spirit, because faith comes from hearing the Word of God! If you will be diligent and keep on reading, studying, chewing-on, talking about, and thinking about God's Word to you and His faithfulness to His Word, you'll be increasingly aware of that FAITH growing... until it completely dispels ALL fear and doubt. God's Word, the Bible, is like no other book! The very power of God is in His Word; and when we believe, the power of God causes the Word to be made manifest. The faith the Word brings hooks up with the power (anointing) of God, just like two train cars hooking up. Manifestation comes! Healing scriptures are seeds, and they yield the crop of HEALING! It doesn't have to take a long time, either. God heals according to how we believe. "Take" these promises as though they were your very medicine, because God's Word is our medicine. God said, "For My words are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." 82 By your words, you are justified, or by your words, you are condemned. You are today... ... ...what you said yesterday. Were your words pleasing to Him? Jesus said, "If you believe, you will have just what you say." He will act upon your words, my friend. Victory could come today. Believe His Word with your heart; confess His Word with your mouth; and then act upon His Word. That is FAITH, so do it now! You'll know His pow'r by what He does! He'll know your faith by what you say! He'll set you free and make you whole! Victory is yours... ... ...today! Each of these promises is from God to you for today! So make them "first person" [that means, YOU] and "present tense" [that means, NOW]. Insert your own name in them, and the name of that disease, too.
13
For example: "Christ has redeemed me, ________ [your full name], from the curse of the law, and [ name of the disease ] is under the curse. Jesus has freed me from captivity to[ name of the disease ]! Jesus paid the price for [ name of the disease ] for me, and that disease no longer has any right to my body! I owe it nothing, and I give it no place! By the stripes that wounded Jesus, I am healed and made whole!" (Ga1.3:13, Deut.28:61, Isa.53:5) Another example: "God sent His Word and healed me, _______ [your full name], and delivered me from ________________ [name of the disease] that has tried to be destruction to me." (Psa.107:20) There's no set way for believing and saying the Word of God. Just speak out what you hear in your heart — in your spirit, which is the real you. That's where God's Word and power are working — bringing faith and healing you. In fact, as you've been reading and receiving these scripture promises, healing has been happening! It's already started! Keep on giving God's Word your undivided attention! God cannot lie, and He cannot fail! He's watching over His Word to perform it! He's faithful that promised!
God has made each promise, and it's His responsibility to bring them to pass!
Your only responsibility... is to respond to His ability!

God's definition of
TERMINAL is "terminates at Calvary!"
Isaiah 53:3-5 (KJV and original Hebrew)
KJV
Hebrew
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

... in His BODY "Jesus personally bore our sins in His own body to the tree [as an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die [cease to exist] to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 Amplified)
He bore... our sins... in His BODY... By paying the price of sin-in-the-body with His Own body [not His spirit, but His BODY], the stripes afflicted to His body purchased the opposite of sin-in-the-body... which is, healing! Jesus bore my sin and its curse (Deut. 28:15-68) IN HIS BODY and offered Himself as the demanded-payment-by-death sacrifice on the altar of the cross... that I might cease to exist (die) to sin and its curse — and, therefore — live to righteousness. Sin and its curse cease to have power over me, because sin and its curse have no more power over a dead person. Now, right-standing has power over me! Jesus released me from sin and its curse by dying the death-punishment for sin and its curse that I owed. Sickness is forever powerless over my body! Healing is my right, my inheritance, MINE! Now, name every other facet of the curse and put its name in the place of the word sickness; then insert its blessing in the place of the word healing. Bottom line: Jesus' stripes cured me, healed me, and made me whole! He freed me from ALL the captivity of the curse by paying the ransom price (death) for me! The bill's been paid! "PAID IN FULL" is written in the red blood of Jesus across my account! The curse is forever powerless over me — spirit, soul, and body!!! ALL the blessings of the New Covenant are mine — salvation, God's presence, God's voice, His fellowship, right-standing, forgiveness, power, peace, victory, health, prosperity, wisdom... EVERY PROMISE IN THE BOOK IS MINE! These New Covenant blessings are already on deposit in my account, but these blessings don't come to me by "automatic withdrawal." I have to withdraw them. How? — by laying claim to my inheritance! Taking hold of it!
Choosing the blessing... and ...refusing the curse! My response — and my responsibility — is to believe it and receive it into my life. That's FAITH !
I Found the Cure
Mark 5:24-34; Acts 3:1-10
There was a woman in the Bible, who had been sick for twelve long years; And she had seen many physicians - she was so torn by her pain and fears! But then she heard about a man named Jesus, the Healer from the town of Galilee! She said, "If I can touch His garment, I know, I know I will be free!" I found the cure - His name is Jesus... The Great Physician everywhere! You want to know where He has His office? It is right here! Praise God! He's here! And it is time for your appointment, So don't be late, or cancel... please — For Jesus is your Balm in Gilead: He is the Cure for all disease! There was a man by the gate called Beautiful, who had to beg for everything he had. He had been lame right from his mother's womb;he never walked, nor leaped, nor ran. But then... along came John and Peter; and when he begged them for their gold, They told him, "All you need is Jesus - and in His name, Arise! You're whole!" I found the cure - His name is Jesus... The Great Physician everywhere! You want to know where He has His office? It is right here! Praise God! He's here! And it is time for your appointment, So don't be late, or cancel... please — For Jesus is your Balm in Gilead: He is the Cure for all disease! No matter what has come against you... No matter how long it's been there... No matter what the doctor's told you... God's waiting now to hear your prayer. He doesn't know the word "incurable"! With Him, there's no impossibility! And He is ready with your miracle - so, now, give Him an opportunity! I found the cure - His name is Jesus... The Great Physician everywhere! You want to know where He has His office? It is right here! Praise God! He's here! And it is time for your appointment, So don't be late, or cancel... please For Jesus is your Balm in Gilead: He is the Cure for all disease!

When Jesus went to a "wake," He went to awake that which was dead! (Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, Widow-of-Nain's son)
We are JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus!
What does the Word say about . . .
RAISING THE DEAD Dead- raising is only done by God's Word. Healing is only done by God's Word. All-provision is only done by God's Word. Salvation of the spirit and soul and body is only done by God's Word. We've believed that about salvation, but we've mixed in the world's way about all the rest, and raising the dead can't be done by mixing . . . by tradition. Jesus said, "Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition." (Mt. 15:3, 6; Mk. 7.13) Tradition in the Greek means transmission. In Webster tradition means the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another without written instructions. Jesus did only what He saw His Father do and said only what He heard His Father say (Jn. 5:19-20; 12:49- 59). To get the same results, we must go back to the WORD and stop mixing in man's traditions. What does the Word say about raising the dead and what are the WORD patterns? There are nine examples to learn from: 1.
1 Kings 17:17-24
Widow of Zarephath's Son. Raised by Elijah, who accusingly cried out to the Lord; then stretched (extended)* himself upon the child three times; cried unto the Lord again, "O Lord, my God, I pray Thee, let this child's soul (breathing, animal, vitality) come into him again." The Lord heard Elijah's voice, the soul came into him again, and he revived. Elijah delivered the child to his mother, who said, "Now by this, I know that thou art a man of God, that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth."
2.
2 Kings 4:18-37
Shunammite's Son. Raised by Elisha. She laid her dead son on the man-ofGod's bed and went to get Elisha; her only words [even to her husband] were, "Shalom" [nothing missing: nothing broken]. When she reached Elisha, he said her soul [same word as in #1] was vexed (bitter, grieved). Elisha sent his servant to lay his [Elisha's] rod on the child, but the mother said, "I will not leave thee." He arose and followed her. Elisha and the child were alone in his room; Elisha prayed; stretched himself upon the child—his mouth, eyes, and hands on the child's, the child waxed warm; Elisha walked around in the house, then back to the child; stretched (prostrate) himself upon the child, who sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha told the Shunammite, "Take up thy son!"
3.
2 Kings 13:21
Soldier, revived by Elisha's bones. No prayer, or touch, or nothin'! When the dead soldier's body touched the bones of Elisha, the soldier revived and stood up!
4.
Luke 7:11-15
Widow of Nain's Son. Raised by Jesus. When Jesus saw the funeral procession, He had compassion on the mother and said, "Weep not." He came and touched the coffin, and said, "Young man, I say unto thee, arise (collect one's faculties, waken, i.e., rouse from (literally) sleep, disease, or death, or (figuratively) from obscurity, inactivity, ruins, non-existence)." And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. Jesus delivered him to his mother.
5.
John 11:1-45
Lazarus. Raised by Jesus. Lazarus had been in the grave four days. No one believed except Jesus--not even Mary and Martha, His closest friends—and that unbelief caused Jesus to weep (cry silently). He groaned (to snort with anger, to have indignation on, to sigh with disappointment, to sternly enjoin) and said…
"Where have you laid him?" He groaned again and said, "Take away the stone." Martha still didn't believe, and said so. Jesus prayed so the people would know God was doing this miracle. He knew His Father had already heard His prayer, and that's why He had confidently said, "This sickness is not unto (indicating the point reached, the result, the purpose) death, but for the glory of God, and that the Son of God may be glorified thereby . . . He's dead, but after I awake him, you'll believe . . . Where have you laid him? . . . Take away the stone." And when He had thus spoken, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" In the literal Greek, it reads, "Lazarus, hither! Out!" "And he that was dead came forth"—all bound up in grave clothes. Jesus said, "Loose him, and let him go." Many unbelievers believed! Mt. 9:18-19, 24-25 Jairus' 12-year-old Daughter, Raised by Jesus. Jairus, ruler of the synagogue, Mk, 5:22-24, 35-43 said, "My only daughter is at the point of death: but come and lay Thy hand upon Lk. 8:41-42, 49-56 her, and she shall be healed and live." The 'evil report' came that she died. Jesus immediately said to Jairus, "Fear not: believe only: and she shall be made whole." Jesus put all the mourners out; took Peter, James, John, and the parents into the room; took Jairus' daughter by the hand and said, "Damsel, arise [see #4 above] !" And her spirit (breath, spirit, soul, vital principle... rational and immortal soul) came again, and she arose straightway, and walked; and Jesus commanded them to feed that teenager! 7.
Acts 2:32
Jesus. Raised by God! [other scriptures say this, also: Acts 2:24; 3:15, 26; 4:10; 5:30;10:40; Rom. 8:11; 10:9; 1 Cor. 6:14; Gal. 1:1; Eph. 1:20; Col. 2:12; 1 Thess. 1:10; 1 Pet. 1:21; etc.] No prayer—just power!!
8.
Acts 9:36-42
Dorcas, Raised by Peter. The disciples at Joppa didn't send for Peter while Dorcas was sick — they waited until she was dead. Peter put everyone out of the room, prayed, and said, "Tabitha, arise (stand up)!" She opened her eyes; when she saw Peter, she sat up; he gave her his hand and lifted her up, called in the saints, and presented her alive. Many believed!
9.
Acts 20:7-12
Eutychus, Raised by Paul. As Paul preached on and on, a young man went to sleep and fell out a window from the third loft and was taken up dead (corpse), Paul fell (seize) on him and embraced (enfold in the arms) him and said, "Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him." They were greatly comforted that the young man was alive, and they fellowshipped until dawn.

All words inside parentheses are the Hebrew or Greek meaning of the preceding word.
Let's look again at the definition of tradition. Tradition in the Greek means transmission; and in Webster it means the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another without written instructions. Jesus said handing down information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another without written instructions—THE WORD OF GOD—makes the commandment of God of none effect . . . no sign, no wonder, no miracle, no result, no manifestation, no glory to God and to Jesus, no unbelievers believing, no rejoicing, null and void, nothing, zero. Tradition has said you have to get permission from the person who has "authority" over the deceased. Mary and Martha didn't have authority over Lazarus; but as his sisters, they sent word to Jesus that their brother was sick. They didn't even ask Him to raise Lazarus--in fact, Martha equated his "rising again" with "the
resurrection at the last day." Jairus was the authority figure in his daughter's life, and he came to Jesus. The widow of Nain was the authority figure for her son. Jesus obeyed what He heard His Father say. If getting permission were a prerequisite for raising the dead, Jesus would have asked the widow of Nain, and we would have been told. He didn't . . . and it isn't. Tradition has said that the dead have a choice as to whether they come back or not. There is no record in the Bible that the dead-one-about-to-be-raised was given a choice. In fact, we are told NOT to talk to the dead [necromancer, Deut. 18:10-12], so how could we know their choice anyway!?!? The only talking to the dead we are to do is to CALL THEM BACK! RAISE THEM UP! The only choice in raising the dead is OUR choice—are we going to obey what we hear Father say, or not? Jesus said, "I am able to do nothing from Myself-independently, of My own accord-but as I am taught by God and as I get His orders. I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me. so I give a decision. Even as I hear, I judge and My judgment is right, just, righteous, because I do not seek or consult My own will—I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose— but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me." [John 5:30 Amp.] Tradition has said anyone who's been in heaven a few days wouldn't want to come back. Lazarus had been in Abraham’s bosom four days and came back immediately upon faith's command. Tradition has said we have to get into agreement with someone. Every time "two or three" is used in the Bible [Num. 35:30; Deut. 17:2-6; 19:15; Mt. 18:15-20; Jn. 8:17-18; 2 Cor. 13:1-2; 1 Tim. 5:19; Heb. 10:28], it is for passing judgment and is a safeguard so that no one person carries the responsibility. We are to agree with [be one with] our Covenant God-hear what He says, do what He does, and get the results He gets, like Jesus did! Jesus never sought out anyone on earth to "agree" with Him. We’re joint-heirs with Him. Jesus sent His harvest hands out with this charge: "Don't begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don't try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. [Today, He would surely say, "Start by getting rid of the tradition that has infiltrated My Church!"] Tell them that the Kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. RAISE THE DEAD. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously. Believe Me: I am in My Father and My Father is in Me. If you can't believe that, believe what you see—these works. The person who trusts Me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because I, on My way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing. You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request along the lines of Who I am and what I am doing, I'll do it. That's how the Father will be seen for Who He is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I'll do." [Mt. 10:5-8; Jn. 14:11-14 The Message Bible] Since Jesus has the keys to death and hell [Rev. 1:18], then death and hell no longer have authority. Jesus gave us the keys in Matthew 16:19-bind (bind) and loose (break up, destroy, dissolve, reduce to constituent particles). Therefore, we have authority over death and hell IN Jesus. If death and hell have any dominion over us, we are NOT walking in the KING-DOM-lNION authority we inherited in the New Blood Covenant.

God's Words... God's Faith... "But if the Spirit of Him-that-raised-up-Jesus-from-the-dead dwell in you, He-that-raised-up-Christ-from-the-dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11, emphasis added). Question: Whose words and Whose faith raised up Jesus from the dead? Answer:
God's words and God's faith did—by His Spirit.
God's words described and formed the end result. God's faith brought-to-pass, pulled-from-the-spirit-realm-intothe-physical-realm, and gave substance (reality) to what He spoke.
God's Spirit manifested what God's words designed and God's faith empowered. ► We are to imitate our Father.◄ Therefore, according to Romans 8:11, since the Spirit of God (Who-raised-up-Jesus-from-the-dead) dwells in me, He-that-raised-up-Jesus-from-the-dead (God) will quicken (give life, make alive, revitalize) my mortal (human, subject to death) body by His (God's) Spirit——the very same SPIRIT that resurrected Jesus from the ultimate death... proving there is NOTHING too hard for God...NOTHING!
Now it's my turn—my words... and my faith...
The Spirit effectuates the stripes ! Webster defines effectuates as: cause to come into being to bring about often by surmounting obstacles to accomplish to put into operation . . . it stresses the successful completion of a process with the implication of conquered difficulties and with an emphasis on the inherent force in the Agent capable of surmounting obstacles

The Holy Spirit quickened Jesus when sin and the curse had killed him, and the very same Holy Spirit dwelling in me quickens my mortal body that sin and the curse try to kill—every part of me that sickness and disease have been slowly decaying, destroying, and disfiguring . . . because the law of the Spirit of life has

delivered me, liberated me, and exempted me from the law of sin and death. The prescriptive usage (law) of the Spirit of Life, which is to quicken, makes me free, delivers me, liberates me, and exempts me from the prescriptive usage (law) of sin and death, which is to steal, kill, and destroy. John G. Lake wrote, "Sickness is incipient death." Webster says incipient means beginning to be, commencing. Even as God raised Jesus from the dead by His Spirit, God raises me from incipient death (sickness and disease) by His Spirit—the dead-raising Holy Spirit of power and might! Now I'm seeing HOW it works and WHO does the work—it's the-Father-that-dwelleth-in-me! He's the power that SOZOs - saves, delivers, protects, heals, preserves, and makes whole [Greek meaning of sozo] my subject-to-death, liable-to-die, capable-of-causing-death human body! The Holy Spirit heals me – hovers and moves on God's Word, performs, and manifests His Covenant Word, quickens and makes alive every part that had something missing and something broken – making my human body WHOLE. The definition of quicken is describing HEALING! WHOLENESS! It's complete, lasting, and freeforthe-believing! There's no drug-poisoning, no surgery-butchering, no radiation-frying, no physician-sorcery, no withdrawal, no scars, no pain! The Holy Spirit's quickening is quick, too—as seen by what the-Father-that-dwelled-in-Jesus did for people through Jesus. The time-line was described as immediately, instantly, suddenly, and straightway! There's not a gradually to be found in the Word! Real faith has real, right-now results, manifested now, for all to see now. If I know someone who said they were "healed gradually," that's how they believed. It's according to my faith. I am to always base my believing on the Bible examples (2 Tim. 3:16). God confirms His Word—not someone else's experiences (Mk. 16:20). If I'll stick to Jesus' ministry and learn what the Holy Spirit did for Him and through Him, I'll get the same results. Jesus said so (Jn. 14:12). This quickening won't be needed in the sweet-by-and-by (as some teach) because I'll no longer have a subject-to-death body; therefore, this quickening is for now because it's for my mortal body. This scripture in Romans 8 has to refer to physical healing (quickened in body) as opposed to being born again (quickened in spirit) because it says "IF He dwells in you," and He can't dwell in me until I'm born again. He's already made my spirit alive-unto-God . . . again. Now He wants to make alive my subject-todeath body B-O-D-Y —flesh and bone, blood, muscle, and tissue, head through toe, inside and outside. The Holy Spirit of God is residing in me in a fixed position as the Agent and means by which God suddenly renews life and activity in my human body. As I believe it, He does it —He quickens my skin, eyes, ears, teeth and gums, joints, feet, and every other cell, system, and organ of my body. I'm not depending on myself or anyone or anything else—just GOD...BY HIS SPIRIT IN ME! I join the Shunnamite and say, "All is well!" He's been there all along to do that (along with all of His other assignments to teach, correct, comfort, edify, enlighten, etc.); but if I've depended on anything or anyone else (including myself), He hasn't been able to do His assignment, because depending on "Plan B" for anything is not faith. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit—all—respond to faith... and nothing less! God could have used any of the many miracles that the Holy Spirit did — how He made Jesus disappear into the crowd when they sought to throw Him off the cliff

how Jesus knew exactly what to say to every person on every occasion how He made Jesus fearless in the face of a raving demoniac, an emaciated leper, a fierce storm, the face-to-face confrontation with the sly and slippery devil himself in the wilderness, etc. how He opened blind eyes, deaf ears, and straightened withered limbs
but God chose "raising Jesus from the dead " That's not the same kind of "dead" that Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, and the widow of Nain's son were held by. Jesus was dead because— all the sins of all mankind for all time were on Him all the curses (consequences of those sins) destined for all mankind for all time were on Him—that is, every sickness and every disease, every pressure, every devastation, and every desertion for all mankind for all time were on Him—all at the same time and—all the evil darkness, stench, and grip of the devil and his demons held Jesus in hell. God chose "raising Jesus from the dead" as the mightiest miracle of the Holy Spirit, because God knew raising the dead is the most impossible act in man's way of thinking. We could never have a situation in our lives that could be as impossible to reverse and overcome as what killed Jesus' human body; and since the Holy Spirit has already done the most impossible act, then . . .
whatever our need is, the Holy Spirit can handle it! Jesus believed God was God, and He believed God would do what God said. Jesus trusted God to perform God's Word to Him (Jesus)—even to raising Him from the dead-dead! Jesus believed it and proclaimed it ("I'll die, and I'll rise again! "), and God saw to it that it happened by His Spirit that dwelled in Jesus... “the Father-that-dwelleth-in-Me, He doeth the works.”
God uses the same Spirit to quicken my human body that He used to quicken Jesus' human body from the dead in hell. HOW did God do it? WHAT-WHO was the power that did it? The same One who performed God's Word in Genesis, chapter one! The same One that's in me! He's the creating, re-creating, quickening, making alive, healing, restoring, resurrecting, putting-back-into-order, reviving, suddenly-renewing-to-life-and-activity something not having the power to move itself to life and activity HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD THAT RESIDES AND DWELLS IN ME! The child who inherits a fortune doesn't struggle to receive, but rather believes and, as a result, walks in the receiving and just says, "Thank you." It's not up to the child to make sure the inheritance is manifested. The attorney sees to it that the estate is administered according to the Last Will and Testament. God wrote out His Last Will and Testament (the New Covenant), sent His Son to die so it would become of force, and then raised Him from the dead to be sure it's carried out. The Holy Spirit's assignment from God to quicken my human body is part of my inheritance in the New Covenant! My inheritance is already on deposit, and now it's up to me to lay claim to it (that's what faith is) and live in it. In the British Isles, during the time when any Christian caught worshiping God was imprisoned or executed—in the wee hours of the morning, a young lady slipped through the darkness to the clandestine meeting of her local church, where they would be partaking of the Covenant meal. Suddenly, a soldier stepped across her path with his weapon pointed right at her, and he yelled, "Where are you going?"
Quicken -4
She knew she had to tell the truth; yet, if she did, he would force her to show him where the meeting was, and he'd kill everyone. Silently she prayed in her heart and asked God for "a way of escape." Counting on the soldier's ignorance of the Covenant, she said to him, "My elder Brother has died, and I'm going to hear the reading of His Will and to receive my part of the inheritance." He let her go. When I partake of the Covenant meal, understanding and valuing that Jesus
took my sin and my curse on His human body paid in full the wages demanded for my sin and my curse, and freed my human body from captivity to sin and the curse,
the Holy Spirit quickens, revives, and suddenly renews to life whatever was not whole in my human body. The resulting wholeness in my body is a memorial to Jesus' redemptive work at Calvary—even as a trophy is a reminder to a high school football team that they won the state championship. When those players look at the trophy, they remember the opposing team, the weather, every touchdown, and the excitement they felt when they won. That trophy is a memorial of their victory! My quickened body is a memorial to Jesus' victory! When I eat the bread and drink the cup, reverencing and believing what Jesus did—with a childlike "Thank You" in my heart, I receive what He paid for; and my wholeness proclaims, declares, preaches, and teaches His redemption sacrifice (1 Cor. 11:26).

THIS is how believers are made whole and stay that way. Then whole believers minister healing to non-believers. This understanding of inheritance, quickening, and effectuating the stripes of Jesus is also true as God's manifested-Word flows through me to the sick. It is the Holy Spirit of God in me that moves through words-out-of-my-mouth and through power-out-through-my-hands and person (even clothing and shadow, etc.) to quicken everyone in every way they have need of being quickened, so that God's Covenant is done on earth even as it's done in heaven—every whit whole!

BELIEVING . . . TRANSFERS THE SPIRITUAL INTO THE PHYSICAL
Webster defines absolute as free from imperfection, perfect; free from mixture, pure; having no restriction, exception, or qualification.
Just to show how much we have watered-down our understanding of absolutes, we've all heard people say: almost all, totally trust, 99.44% pure, nearly perfect, really believe, completely confident, whole truth, half-truth, half-dead, semi-free, "white" lie, just a "little" sin—when in fact, the italicized words are actually absolutes. In the Bible . . . and in this teaching . . . believe is absolute—free from imperfection, perfect; and free from mixture, pure; having no restriction, exception, or qualification. Believing becomes pure
when we let the Word remove the unbelief (impurities) and when we choose to commit to God and His Word . . . and nothing else.
THE SUBJECT AT HAND — HEALING FOR OUR PHYSICAL BODY
What are the promises in the Bible regarding healing—not what others have said were healing promises, but what the Bible says are healing promises? And, how do we get the Word which is spiritual (John 6:63) to change our bodies which are physical? Psalm. 107:20 - "He sent His Word [spiritual] and healed them [physical]." The only way to get the spiritual into the physical is to BELIEVE! The moment we do . . . it does. Matthew 10:7-8 - Jesus said, ". . . and as ye go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." We have no record of the disciples ministering healing to each other, nor of Jesus ministering healing to the disciples. Also, there is no mention of their telling anyone to go to a doctor, which were available in the Old Covenant (2 Chr. 16:12) and in the New Covenant (Lk.8:43). God has always been our Physician—He said so in Exo. 15:26—Jehovah Rophe. Mark 16:17-18 - Jesus said, "They that BELIEVE [spiritual] will lay hands on the sick [physical], and they shall have themselves well [literal Greek]." The sick wouldn't be sick if they were BELIEVING—born-again or not. The answer? BELIEVE. Romans 8:11 - "But if the Spirit [spiritual] of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you [your
[your spirit], He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies [physical] by His Spirit that dwelleth in you." How does the God-quickening get from the spirit realm to our mortal body in the physical realm? By our BELIEVING what the Word promises in this verse. We don't have to know how—but we are told to believe in Him Who knows how. It's ongoing! No other person is involved—just me, the Spirit of Truth, and the Blood Covenant.
1 Corinthians 11:23-30 - Paul writes, "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the night in which He was betrayed took bread: and when He had given thanks, He brake, and said, 'Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.' After the same manner also the cup, when He had supped, saying, 'This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink, in remembrance of Me.' For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily [irreverently—not honoring, respecting, paying attention to, i.e., not recognizing the worth of], shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily [irreverently—not honoring, respecting, paying attention to, i.e., not recognizing the worth of], eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep." Jesus Himself established the Covenant Meal [physical] as our means of receiving the physical healing He provided for us when He cut the Blood Covenant at the cross [spiritual]. But . . . if we don't BELIEVE [discern—honor, respect, pay attention to, i.e., recognize the worth of] all that Calvary accomplished, we'll be sick and die early. Only BELIEVING the Blood Covenant will convey the provisions [spiritual] it guarantees into our body [physical]. The Covenant Meal is the only thing that should be in our "medicine cabinet." Selah.
James 5:14-15 - "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." The sick (whether born-again or not, but supposedly born-again because they're in the church and they) call for their BELIEVING elders to get them back on the "front burner." Notice it says, "Is there any sick among you?" In today's churches, it would have to be said, "Is there any not sick among you?" This shows again how very important it is to be in a BELIEVING church!!! Where is one??? All the church leaders I know are quicker to pray for successful surgery than they are to preach and BELIEVE the pure, sign-producing Word of God.
1 Peter 2:24 [Isa. 53:4-5; Mt. 8:16-17] - "Who His own self bare our sins [spiritual] [and their consequences, i.e., the curses [physical]] onto His own body [physical] to the cross to (1) cut Covenant as He died to pay the demanded price for sins [spiritual death] and (2) pay for the consequences/curses [physical, mental, and every other kind of weapon that can be formed against us] so that we'd be dead to the power of sins [spiritually and their physical consequences, which means, dead to sickness. Can sickness be put on a dead person? Could leprosy be spread to a corpse?] and alive to right-standing." By the price He paid in taking the stripes they laid, He purchased our healing. How do we transmit what He did in the spiritual and physical into our spiritual and physical realms? We've always known BELIEVING was the only way to appropriate the being-born-again part, and BELIEVING is the only way to transfer the healed-and-whole part, too. The same sacrifice purchased both of them. Jesus' entire ministry is a picture of transferring the spiritual into the physical. He came to "destroy the works of the devil" (1 Jn. 3:8), and He did it (Mt. 28:18; Lk. 10:19; Col. 2:15; Rev. 1:18)—"healing all that were oppressed of the devil" (Acts 10:38).
IF the manifestation of BELIEVING (which is wholeness) isn't happening, then we are to call for a BELIEVER to come-along-beside-together-with-against! A BELIEVER is one who has no "Plan B" simmering on the back burner—but for that one, it's "only God and only His Word!" The sick one has to have their confidence 100% in this Word-method of healing, too . . . which is BELIEVING for all they're worth and crying out, "Help thou mine unbelief that I obviously still have 'cause I'm not whole . . . yet!" The early Church in the book of Acts BELIEVED in the name of Jesus and conveyed the spiritual into the physical—sometimes by touching, praying, anointing with oil, applying a prayer cloth, or speaking . . . but always by BELIEVING. How do we know they were BELIEVING? Because they got immediate results, and the Bible says when we BELIEVE, we receive (Mt. 21:21). If we're not receiving, we're not BELIEVlNG— according to the Bible. That's straight and narrow, and it's high time we get back to it! you can read about countless others who have trusted Him for wholeness . . . in the Bible I've been going to Him for years — I remember the first time . . . Even though I had been raised in a Christian home and been active in a denominational church, I had never heard that God would heal me physically. I was in my early 30s and had just been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit for a few months, when I began to experience symptoms of sickness; and I realized that I didn't want to go to the doctor (as I always had in the past) and didn't understand why. There was a man in our church that I noticed didn't talk much; but when he did, what he said was profound and alive. I simply asked God what I should do, and He told me to call this man. When he answered the phone, I identified myself, told him I was sick, and that God had told me to call him. All he said to me was, "Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, and Isaiah 53:3-5." Then he hung up the phone. I realized his total confidence was in the Word — not in anything he could say, and I began to read those scriptures. They came alive in my heart, and I was immediately whole! Only God! Thank You, Jesus! Since then, whenever a symptom (or a fear of sickness) comes knocking at my door, I don't sign for the package — but rather, slam the door in its face! I will say of The Lord, "He is my Refuge and my Fortress! My God! In Him will I trust!" Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with His feathers and under His wings shall I trust. His Truth shall be my Shield and Buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day, Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand...but it shall not come nigh me! Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because I have made The Lord, which is my Refuge, even The Most High, my Habitation, There shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling! For He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shall I trample under feet. And The Lord responds.... "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him! I will set him on high, because he has known My Name! "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him! I will be with him in trouble! I will deliver him, and honour him! "With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation!"
