Nevada’s Read by Grade 3 Program

Using Seesaw as a digital portfolio is a great way to promote student learning AND engage families. My kindergarten students love to take pictures of activities that they complete in class. They love to share these activities with their families at home promoting student engagement. Similarly, by creating portfolios of their learning, we are able to see all their growth throughout the school year. It’s very exciting to see!”

Nevada’s Read by Grade 3 Program

Digital portfolios are an amazing way for parents to digitally catalog their student’s work at the end of each year. Not only can they see the work, they can see their learner and hear their voice. It is really a very unique archive that will grow with the learner. It shows success and growth over time instead of a snap shot here and there.”

Track growth year-over-year from PreK-5 (and beyond) with Seesaw’s digital portfolios. Work done inside or outside of Seesaw can be captured to monitor progress and hear student reflections on their learning. Video and screen recordings provide visibility and insights into student thinking, so teachers can pinpoint student needs and personalize instruction. Digital portfolios demonstrate proficiency beyond traditional assessments and support special education documentation and parent-teacher interviews.

Good Cause Exemptions & Digital Portfolios

Seesaw’s digital portfolios capture student work throughout the entire school journey, helping to measure and celebrate development throughout the years. Student digital portfolios travel with them yearover-year, providing a cohesive overview of their work and can be used as evidence for Good Cause Exemptions.
