The workshops have been created by the CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY team and tested with teachers. A range of workshop options are on offer to tie in with your experience of the show. Our practitioners can travel to your school or we will arrange it at a venue in London. Suitable for Key Stage 1-4 Drama A dynamic performance workshop exploring the characters, themes and staging of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Students will use the script of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY to develop their acting techniques, as well as acting exercises to help them develop their characterisation, chorus work, and improvisation skills. ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOLS – MATILDA THE MUSICAL Cambridge Theatre Wednesday mornings
The Royal Shakespeare Company offers pre-show midweek matinee education workshops for primary and secondary schools during term time. The workshops are designed to introduce your students to the story of MATILDA THE MUSICAL, the key characters and the creative process of bringing it to life on stage. Led by RSC practitioners these active 90 minute sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of students of all ages from 6 years old and upwards. Education workshops are available on Wednesday mornings during term time from 10.30am – 12pm only and take place at the Cambridge Theatre. Contact the See Education team for more information.
