Merseyside Army Cadet Force
Funny but hard-hitting, Addiction Education is a drama / role play that looks at the dangers of Class A drugs through the eyes of those with first hand experience. Listen to ex-offenders who have kicked their habits tell you about the negative role drugs have played in their lives. If you are aged 11-18 this is a chance to truly be in the know about addiction to Class A drugs.
If you are aged 12-18 go to the ACF two nights a week where you can do orienteering, skill at arms, foot drill, adventurous training, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, First Aid and many more… You can develop your confidence, leadership skills and discipline with the chance to go on weekend camps and a two week summer camp!

Merseyside County Scout Council
Description: Supports children and young people under the age of 18 who provide care for another family member with a physical illness/disability, mental or sensory disability or with problematic use of drugs or alcohol. The project aims to identify and support young people by raising awareness of the impact that caring has on children and young people and by working closely with other agencies to offer local support. The service also offers information and advice, counselling, advocacy, focus groups, fun activities and breaks from caring.
Description: The Merseyside County Scout Council consist of 15 district operating 156 Scout groups. The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
